Main-Wah Kitchen — Restaurant in East Hartford

As the first time goin to pick up for door dash they are rude and nasty people! All I did was walk up to the glass and I didn’t say anything and the nasty lady came on the intercom and was telling me to go inside when there is no door to come inside but she kept telling me that! So I kept asking her where is the door at? And the gentleman that was out side waiting for his order told me I have to order but I told him the lady is telling me to come inside but where is the door??? Then when she finally come back on the intercom she ask me what I was there for and I told her I was picking up for doordash and she said ok you have to wait like everyone else and you don’t have to be rude about it! And I told her I didn’t say anything to her or gave her attitude!!! All I wanted to do was pick up a doordash that’s it and she was very rude and nasty to me!! Never again will I pick up...

FINALLY!!! I've found a chinese restaurant whose food is not just generically ok or expected. Their food is really really tasty, excites the palate and more than anything the grease they fru their wings in is fresh!! Prices are reasonable but their menu is digital which threw me off because I like picking up that paper menu and scanning it. The lobby is huge with ample place to sit and war without anyone being in your face. The girl at the counter is super cool and was effective with the ordering process and conveying to the chef EXACTLY how I wanted my Lo main. I will drive the 18 mins just to go back...

Decided to finally try this place after living in town for 20 years. The main Wah in in Manchester is my absolute favorite but this one is nothing like that one. We were so disappointed in their food tonight. Teriyaki beef is my favorite thing and I don't even know if it was beef. The texture was wrong, the sauce was horrible. It was more of a barbecue than teriyaki. My husband got their general Tso chicken and he was so disappointed with it. He ended up sick in the middle of the night.
