Ranch House East Hartford Best Food in Hartford — Restaurant in East Hartford

Everyone in the East Hartford Facebook group said this was the best breakfast place in East Hartford so I wanted to see myself. I definitely preferred it to other diners and cafes located in East Hartford and was grateful I didn’t have to drive out of town just for breakfast when I want to support local economy. Pros Affordable prices $3.99 to 11.99 Efficient service due to large staff (5 men cooking and 1 man at register) Fresh Made to order (asked for my eggs hard and pancake with cinnamon) You can call and preorder food for pick up Not a chain restaurant Sufficient parking Provides utensils and condiments Lots of drink options. I stopped here to grab a double Cheeseburger and a large French Fries for lunch to go. The burger was phenomenal and cooked to perfection. They didn't ask me how I wanted it cooked, they just did their thing and whipped up some awesomeness that was fully cooked and still nice and juicy, not greasy. The fries were very good, but silly me, I didn't realize the fries were HUGE! I ate a bunch, but there was just so many... Not complaining, they were cooked as good as it gets. The staff is nice. The place is busy with a steady flow of people going in and out. There are a few picnic tables out front. It is obvious that this place has a good following of regular customers that know where to get great food at a good price. I'll be back... Next time it may be a breakfast sandwich, but then again, it could be a Philly...

The place is up to par wall maintained. Unlike its counterpart on Main Street, Hartford. The food is great atmosphere is okay. It's very cramped in there. It's mostly a takeout, that you're going to want to pick up from, I can eat outside. Only reason why I didn't give them all fours.Stars is just, it's too small, but that's not the top of places.It's good food made properly for people on the go, which is perfect for truckers, people that just want to grab their food and get out. Or if you're just traveling through, it's a definitely great place to visit. So I really recommend this highline since I find this place to be very popular. And the staff is very courteous...
