We had placed an online order for this store since they were participating in the $5 sub deal. The online confirmation stated it would be ready for pick up at the promised time at 6:05 PM. My mother arrived at 6:15 PM at the store. There were 2 servers behind the counter. She waited in line for 5 minutes as the servers were helping customers in front of her. The server apologized and said they would start working on the order. They verified to my mother they had received the online order. She told them it was ok and she would stop at a store nearby for maybe 10-15 minutes and would be back to pick up the sandwiches. My mother came back and they had not started making the sandwiches as they previously stated (~6:45 PM). They told her to get in line and they would start making the sandwiches. The server stated that they were very busy with people constantly walking into the store in which the servers were prioritizing those orders first. She was very upset, and they said that the store could give her the money back if she wanted in this situation. My mother stated she did not and just wanted her order. The manager told my mother that it would be better to call in the order next time instead of using the online ordering system. It was around 7 PM when she finally got the sandwiches (which weren't toasted as ordered, and I verified on the receipt that it did state “toasted” next to all the orders). I called the manager after to walk me through what happened to piece together the whole situation. She stated that she was called into the store to help around 6:30 PM and didn’t know the full situation since she wasn’t there during my mother’s first visit. Read moreToday two girls that work there, charged me before they gave me my pizza but even then the pizza was burnt, I asked for another one but that was burned as well, they were also mocking me. I do not like this customer service, I went to subway at 4:50 and only picked up the pizza at 5:15. Disappointing do better!
Edit: I went here again yesterday 6/8/24 and there was what appeared to look like a young girl about 17ish at the front counter, me and my two daughters sat at one of the tables and waited for the line to get shorter so we wouldn’t have much of a wait. After about 30mins (which I believe is a ridiculous amount of time to serve 4 people) we entered the line and heard the young girl at the front counter on her phone talking very LOUDLY about how much “fun” her and her boyfriend had last night (ps. She wasn’t being very discreet about it and using every single word in the dictionary to describe it) I found this very inappropriate seeing as my kids and this elderly women’s grandson where in the building and that time and obviously we didn’t want the children hearing about this yet. My subs were already made and they refused to take my gift card. I had practically already paid for these subs and they still wouldn’t give them to me.
I work in the food industry, and if something is of your error, you give the food away to your customer. They were just going to throw the subs away anyway. The loss would have been the same.
I had to have someone drive from my house to drop off cash to me. It took 30 minutes for them to sort everything out. It was ridiculous.
