Off the Hook Seafood & Grill — Restaurant in East Lansdowne

This establishment is highly unprofessional!!!!!! From the attitudes and lack of customer service, to the long waits for our food. I called to place an order for pick up, and I was told that I cannot place an order, because of a note that was placed under my telephone number. The guy literally told me that he couldn’t place my order at all! He stated that his manager put the note there. I asked to speak to the manager and he was not available! He did not explain why, and could not give me a logical reason why he couldn’t take my order! He kept making assumptions, stating “maybe I never picked an order up.” This place has the worst customer service by far! The food is too pricey and not tasty enough to deal with disgusting attitudes from the workers! SPEND YOUR MONEY SOME WHERE ELSE!!!!!!!!

This is a response to the owner! For 1. The way you responded to my review confirms how unprofessional you are! For 2. I have NEVER called your establishment to order and did not pick it up! That’s not in my character! You rushed to answer my review to lie and defend about how you wrongly accused me, but you could not be professional enough to call me and get to the bottom of an issue that’s wrong on your end! I am completely disgusted with you and your way of conducting business. Just for the record, every time me or my spouse ordered from your business we came and waited an additional 20 mins, bcus your staff was disorganized, and was forgetting who ordered what! The only reason I’m responding to you, is because of your complete lie! And your commitment to stand by it! You will never see a dime from me again! The food is great! Not so much the service. I called in my order for pick up and asked if they had grilled salmon. The female who took the call told me to go on line, look at the menu and call back. The menu had broiled salmon and when called back the same female answered the phone. I asked her the difference between broiled and grilled, but she seemed irritated by the question and told me that she didn’t know. I ordered fried catfish instead. 20 minutes later I arrived to pickup my food. I had to wait another 20 minutes for my food. While waiting, the female who I believe was the one who took my order over the phone, asked me 6 times what my order number. I told her 6 times my number was 58. When my food was ready she asked me my number again and again I told her 58. She asked the young lady who was with her behind the counter to grab the bag. The young lady said “58” and I thought she said “Alfredo”. I stood up confused and repeated “alfredo?”. The other female became very irritated, snapped at the young lady and ordered her to put my food back behind the counter. She snapped “we’re not going to do this and giving you someone else’s food because you are saying to many things”. She was snapping at me for what I didn’t know. She continued to snap at me demanding that I give her my receipt. I handed it to her and she snatched it out my hand, read it I snapped “this is 58”. Then she grabbed my bag from behind the counter and slammed it on the counter in front of me. All of this in front of other customers. EXTREMELY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE & DELIVERY!!!!!!

it's a shame that businesses like this that sells amazing food, hire terrible people that have ABSOLUTELY no sense of good customer service to work for them. It's also sad that the employee finds nothing wrong with the way they talk to people and could careless. They are very rude, they get smart, they hang up on you, and they don't acknowledge you saying thank you or anything, just completely unacceptable! If it weren't for the food being SO good and the owner being very NICE and accommodating I would have stopped ordering from this place a while ago.

As for delivery I understand completely why it might get backed up and delivery might take longer than expected (the food is great, everyone wants it) BUT there is absolutely NO reason for delivery to take a hour and 45 min to 2 hours when you live only a few blocks away, It's ridiculous, and on top of that the delivery guys always have an excuse. The gps this, my phone that, I missed my turn, I understand things happen but I don't believe that something happens each time you deliver!

I believe if the owner takes a step back and look at his employees and understand how rude they are and how they have little to no experience in customer service then this place would be an all around...
