When it's cold outside it's very cozy and warm, but not too overwhelmed by any heat ... It's not thick for anybody who gets clouster phobic especially when you have to be wearing a mask during the pandemic. I don't ever use my hand fan when I'm in there which is great. I usual would have one with me anyways. 😎👍 Very heathy choices. Vegan friendly for you or anyone you know. I love the fact that the self service area has a option you can remove your items off the counter if you bought a lot stuff and put it in your cart so you don't to make separate services. Read moreINSTITUTIONALIZED RACISM. That is what Giant Food Stores practices. For the Third time in as many weeks came home and chopped into an Onion only to find that it was rotten. The Lansdowne Store is the closest big grocery store to West Philadelphia a primarily African American Community. When I compare my experience there vs. say a story in the wealthy suburbs, like Glen Mills, PA the cleanliness of the stores are markedly different. The Lansdowne store is filthy to the point of being a public health risk. The shelves that hold the eggs are covered in residue of broken egg yolks (can you say SALMONELLA). The MEAT and Dairy are always almost out of date. The produce is always nearly rotten or very nearly on the way to being so. I squeezed an avocado to check for freshness and it exploded-ed black OOZE in my hand. It was literally LIQUEFIED. The entire box of Avocados was like that. It was not an isolated incident. It happened to me twice in as many shopping trips. The Produce Manager should be FIRED. I guess with the BOTTOM DOLLAR closed they could care less about customer service. It is the only grocery store in walking distance, the Save-A-Lot somehow manages to be even worse than Giant. Why does GIANT Food Stores think it is okay to treat it's African American client base like garbage? You want to know what is especially EVIL? Even though it serves people from a lower economic back ground they actually charge MORE at the GIANT store in Lansdowne, than compared to the Glen Mills store. Some one should start a class action lawsuit...
Read moreI had went to the 300 E Baltimore Ave, Lansdowne, PA 19050 giants location I been a customer of theirs for years. It’s my Neighborhood location. But tonight will be my very last time going there and I will see to it my family , friends and associates will not pretake there. Today at 7:00 pm I want to cash in my coin star receipt. I approached the heavy set light complexion young lady with two buns told me as I walked up with her late on shouted at me saying she “was closed!” I said to her I just wanted to cash in my receipt she said “no” and watched the customer Infront of me bag up his stuff she didn’t even help him I then knew she was inexperienced , and unpleasant . I went to another line she then walked up to the skinny fair skin young lady and told her while she was servicing to close her line . The other young lady said no I’m going to keep it open because the team lead or assistant manager was watching . The young lady said why I closed my line I’m not helping nobody for the rest of the night she then said they do this to me and you all the time for her to feel comfortable saying that in front of me shows she doesn’t take her job seriously . If you lack customer service skills then why apply for the job nobody made you apply for that position if you not a people person then take your attitude else where that all being said not only is she a brute she’s lazy and a tyrant . I can tell she is troubled by giving bad advice to her fellow coworker . It is just sad and sickening to see youths are running circles...
