Was really disappointed with my cake order for my son’s first communion. We ordered the fruit cake. Was not told the crumb on the sides couldn’t be added because of cross contamination. (Nut allergy)I asked for white flowers and was told no. It won’t look good. So I said okay how about God Bless Henry on it. Was thinking because it was a big cake with no other decorations the writing would have been better . Nope. I opened the cake box when I got home to find this, what a joke! I called and spoke with the manager and that’s when she told me the crumb on the sides couldn’t be added and she could not add any other decorations as she’s not a baker and would look bad. So pretty much was SOL. For spending as much as I did on this cake and for this being a good bakery i expected a lot more! Very very dissatisfied.

One of, if not the best place for Italian pastries in a hundred mile radius. They also offer a really nice selection of deli products and Italian cheeses. As well as some gelato that I've not tried but if it's on par with the quality of the rest of the items they stock should be fairly decent. Updates related to the current pandemic (posting end of June 2020): They're open for walk-in service with no seating inside and physical distancing of 6 ft required. Masks are also required, of course, and all of the staff maintain the same level of PPE and caution. They offer a few tables outside (I think maybe five of them with about two chairs per table) So seating is available if you available. We last went on a Sunday around lunch time and there was plenty of space available outside to sit.

First of all I wasn’t rude and didn’t swear at your employee. I raised my voice not yelled at her just like I did with you that’s not being rude that is being upset period. Here’s the picture of my cake which was suppose to be ricotta not a rum cake! It ruined our night when it came to dessert thanks to you! I think you need to learn what being upset and rude are too!

Ordered a cake from this shop for the last birthday in our family. I showed up to pick up the cake before the birthday party and “order was never put in system.” Had to leave and come back in three hours. Paid full price. Today I went to pick up the cake I ordered three days ago. Arrived and had them write on the cake. On check out I was told “credit card system is down.” I had 27 dollars cash for a 31 dollar cake. I was told this was not sufficient (by who I was told was the manager of the East Longmeadow shop) and I could go up the street to the atm and come back. I explained I had my child and 2 animals in the car and asked if I could leave my information for them to process the 4 dollars when the system went back up. I was also told no. I left without the cake for the party I was on my way to. 20 minutes later I received a call that the system was back up and I could come back quickly to pick up the cake (shop closed in 5 minutes). I did speak to the owner of the shop (Anna) who admitted the manager of the east Longmeadow shop told her I offered 12 dollars cash (which is a complete lie). She apologized and also admitted this does happen and they have people who never come back. My family will join that list! Cerratos in west Springfield has cakes that are just as good ( if not better) and also, Russo’s in Enfield. In addition to great products, those family owned businesses also care about their customers! So long,...

RIP-OFF!!!! First time customer, NEVER again!!! The make your own panini/sandwich is a complete SCAM. I ordered a menu panini loaded with meat for $12 and my wife built her own, bread, arugula, oninons, artichokes, mozzarella and marinated peppers. Figuring it would be equal or less then the one loaded with meat as they don't list prices. Later realized the total was $30!! I thought they rang it in wrong so I went there hoping to get better clarification. After waiting several minutes because there's no rhyme or reason to how they take customers or just straight up ignore you, I talked to a girl asking how the pricing works on the make your own, she had to get someone else to answer that. The response was "depends on who rings it in, sometimes managers just include everything"....WHAT?!?!?! Are you serious?!?! So I pay whatever the person feels like!?!? Apparently they charge you $8 for bread, $3 for mozzarella, $3 for artichokes etc etc making it a $18 sandwich!! NOT worth it! If they had prices posted per topping this could have been avoided. It's on purpose to screw you over. Nobody there seems to care and tries to dismiss you as quickly as they can. First impression was, wow this is a nice place, but it quickly turned into a miserable experience that followed me the rest of the day emotionally. I will never go here again for anything. POST YOUR PRICING!!!! Typical East...

Do not give your business to these scumbags who lack basic customer service skills and empathy. My wife went here to pickup a cake order at 130pm on a Sunday for my mother in laws birthday. Upon arrival the girl at the counter informed her that their card reader is down and she would need to pay $31 cash for the cake. My wife had $26 cash on her and explained that this was an inconvenience as she had my son, me and our two animals in the car. The girl at the counter told her she would have to go to an atm and thinks there is one down the street. My wife pressed on that this was unacceptable and requested the supervisor, the supervisor who was apparently standing there told her that they would not be able to make an exception. $5 differential for an inconvenience caused by the business? No courtesy call to your orders awaiting pickup that your card reader is down? Congratulations on ruining a birthday and for sure loosing my family and everyone attending our parties business forever....
