Arrived about 6pm on Friday. The guy taking the order looked like he wasn't in the mood to work. I asked info due to my first time there. I suggest going when they are grilling meat outside. The asada was bland. The taco de costilla had meat that was so hard to chew. I had to leave half of it. The alpastor was tasty and not tough to eat. The BBQ habanero ribs where tender. Two rib plate. One thick rib and another rib with meat that was almost paper thin. Thick rib was.half red. I don't like red meat. Not sure how long my food was ready, but I live 2 blocks away and tacos where cold, burrito warm.Ribs warm. Red and green salsa excelente. Guacamole also. Frijoles charros and macaroni salad good. Tortillas hechas a mano excelente. I hope this was...

This place got to over hyped, and because of that,we are all paying the price...What price you say...The over pricing. 2 Carne asada tacos with bone marrow $20 ..Really $20..It's not they're gourmet. The marrow had no flavor and it was cold. I also got 2 beef ribs at $9 a pop..not bad for the price. Those were ok. Not tender at all. They could actually try and do something about the line. Every time someone would get there, they wouldn't know where the line started. Took almost 2 hours just for 2 ribs and 2 tacos...Not worth it. Don't recommend taking kids 3-8 years old. Kids will probably get to fussy waiting that long, especially for tacos. This is my 3rd time there and everytime i say...It will be better..nope ..Never making that...

I have mixed feelings about it. On the one hand, they have some unique meat offerings that you won't find at most taco trucks, which is definitely a plus. On the other hand, they only have a B rating from the local health department, which is somewhat concerning.

I tried the bone marrow taco, which was very expensive, and unfortunately, I wasn't impressed. The taco wasn't hot and the texture wasn't to my liking. However, I did enjoy the rib meat quesadilla, which was flavorful and satisfying.

One thing to note is that this food truck is located in a not-so-great part of Los Angeles, so be careful when you visit. The truck is on a very busy street and parking is limited, so be prepared for some challenges in...

We had to look for street parking and walk about a block over to the food truck. It was a 1.5 hour wait at 2:12PM on a Saturday. It was our first time so we had some questions about the menu before ordering. We ordered two cacahuate ribs, two bone marrow, and one costila taco. I thought we ordered the whole bone marrow but we just got bone marrow added to our tacos. We asked the cashier about it. He showed us the receipt and told us we had ordered the wrong thing even though we asked questions before ordering. The ribs weren’t fall off the bone but the spicy peanut flavor was good. The tacos were pretty heavy. Personally, we don’t think it was worth the 1.5 hour wait.

First time here and we will be back. I had the huarache con pollo. The chicken was really good, Super tasty. My feedback on this is that the onion is chopped in BIG pieces so it’s not a subtle onion flavor. I would order without onions next time. Salsas are green or red and the flavors were good. My husband had a taco “Campechana” which we learned is a combination of meats. He said it was good. The horchata has mediocre so we wouldn’t be ordering that in the future. That was the only agua they offered. It would be great if there were more to choose from. Will come back for the bar b q next time

Don Pollon! The ribs...YES! The big bone with bone marrow...YES! You need to take a trip to Los Angeles, if for nothing else but to eat at Don Pollon! We had the ribs with dry rub and the adobo and peanut success on the side. I preferred the ribs without any side sauce. The bone marrow plate is impressive. You can get about 5 tacos per plate so I would order one person if that's the only thing you're choosing. I would stick with a plate of 3 ribs and a bone marrow plate for 2 people. We'll be back!
