came here on a Friday night around 7:00, it's rare that you find a food truck with quality Meats but I would say this one surprised me I know expectation I just wanted some classic tacos they had all the different kinds of meats you would want they even had carne asada nachos and fries and burritos and other stuff on the menu that I wasn't expecting to see the salsa game was really good. The food took probably less than 10 minutes there was no line really and they had a couple of picnic tables off to the side where we were able to eat our food we ate quickly because it was cold but the food was delicious! I had asada suadero and Cabeza, I like them all but if I had to go back and just pick one I would probably stick with the suadero. They all have the perfect amount of flavoring sometimes a lot of these food trucks will cook all the meat and you're missing salt you're missing a salsa onion and cilantro these you could have honestly just had without any other toppings and it would have been fine the flavor is that good! Definitely worth pulling over and grabbing some tacos! oh the horchata was...
Read moreDriving around LA at night on a Friday, you're going to come across more than a few lunch trucks. Which one is the best is subject to your opinion, we all have different tastes. A couple months ago my usual lunch truck got lost and hasn't been found since. Well, don't feel bad for me because I found Jason's Tacos.
Each time I have come here the food and service have been awesome. These are very authentic LA street tacos! The Al Pastor is fired up right outside and looks and tastes phenomenal! The carne asada tacos are freaking delicious! And it never takes me long to get my food. They have plenty of condiments on the side with very juicy lemons and tasty salsas. They have plenty of cold glass bottle beverages, canned sodas and aguas fresca. This is my new spot for street tacos when I'm out...
Read moreWow! Amazing food from Jason's LA Tacos Truck! We had the Torta Cubana and the California Burrito (Al Pastor).
The Torta Cubana weighs about 2 pounds! And it's as delicious as it is big. It would be easier to say what isn't in it, but was IS in it is Al Pastor, ham, hot dog(!), egg, avocado, tomato, lettuce, and MORE!
The California Burrito is a monstrous 1-1/2 pounder with tons of meat, potatoes, cheese, onions, cilantro, and tons more. BUT not a lot of rice or beans... This is a burrito that is generous with the meat. Maybe the best burrito I've ever eaten!
There is a large selection of garnishes. Cucumbers, pickled onions, onion and cilantro, several kinds of salsa... About twice the range that you usually see.
There is seating for about 8, under a covered area on...
