A Mediterranean Delight: Sofreh Delivers Authentic Flavors in East Los Angeles
Sofreh, nestled in the vibrant heart of East Los Angeles, beckons with the promise of Mediterranean delights that tantalize the taste buds and transport diners to distant shores. My recent visit to this culinary gem left me thoroughly impressed, from the first bite to the last.
Opting for the beef kabob wrap paired with a side of Greek fries, I embarked on a gastronomic journey that exceeded all expectations. The wrap, expertly crafted with tender beef, fresh vegetables, and a medley of flavorful spices, was a symphony of savory goodness wrapped in warm, pillowy bread.
Accompanying the wrap were the Greek fries, a delightful fusion of crispy potatoes seasoned to perfection with aromatic herbs and spices. Each bite was a burst of Mediterranean flavor, perfectly complementing the richness of the kabob wrap.
What truly sets Sofreh apart is its commitment to authenticity. Every dish is a celebration of Mediterranean cuisine, crafted with care and attention to detail. From the quality of the ingredients to the presentation on the plate, it's evident that the chefs take pride in their craft.
Beyond the food, the ambiance at Sofreh is warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a leisurely meal with friends or family. The staff are friendly and attentive, ensuring that every guest feels welcome and well taken care of.

Read morePerfect. I thought it was lovely! It was charming. It was quiet and peaceful. There was lots of food. It was all really good. I had the beef mix and my husband had the chicken mix. I bought an order of dolmas. I like mine with a lot of lemon. I didn’t request any lemons, next time I will.
I didn’t realize there was no parking lot to park in. I parked on the street and we sat down to eat. The lady was very friendly. I was not expecting water without ice. The water was very good and it was cold. The fork was not strong enough to cut the steak. I would recommend this place. I loved how peaceful it was and the food was good. We drove all day from out of state and we were tired and thought this would be a cheap quick meal before going to bed. He hadn’t plan on spending that much. That’s why I said it was expensive. I’m use to getting Dolmas at Heart of Jerusalem and other places cheaper. Unfortunately where I’m from we do not have any restaurants that sell this kind of food near us. When I’m in Colorado I love going to the Heart of Jerusalem and wish more places would do dolmas...
Read moreFirst time and LAST time .. Atmosphere very cute and clean .. However our decision to never go back was all because of ANGRY , RUDE AND most of all disrespectful cashier with blond hair and heavy eyelashes . Food was ok .. We ordered chicken Gyro and the pita bread was really thin that by the second bite the whole thing came undone and was very wet with whatever ingredients they used. Also ordered simple salad and it was ok nothing to be excited about . There was no costumers at all when we ordered and yet took over 25 min to receive two SIMPLE Items . I asked the rude cashier status on it since it was over 25 min wait and her come back was .. “It will be done when it’s done ?”who says that to a costumer that PAID and inquiring after 25 min for status ? I was really surprised how bad costumer service we received for OK food .. After the food was ready she literally grabbed the little pager with force and slammed the front window .. Because of the horrible customer service and OK food first and last time ever .. Horrible experienced...
