Sandwiches Unlimited — Restaurant in East Orange

If the owner reads this he will know I am a fan, grew up poor, this was a once every 3 month treat in my family. Normal earning dad with 3 boys. One location on Main Street, it was one thing my Dad made sure we got at least once a month. (edit, every 3 months and the New [to me] location holds the same quality.)

Both location’s (Orange & E. Orange) should stop providing the option of delivery through Postmates, even before COVID-19 came along, it’s not worth the time, just go there in person with less chances of them completely messing up in front you.

So I ordered Four Sandwiches (Two got two cold) and a Whole chef salad for my family. the app showed you were working on it. When I received it, one of the hot sandwiches were not there at all, none of them were cut and I got a SMALL chef salad when I wanted a WHOLE, I asked the driver to see if they grab the wrong stuff and he said “when i got there the workers were asking me what was in the order.” outside of who it belong to, wouldn’t y’all know that already when it pops up on the computer. The thing is that Is most annoying is I got no calls from the shop, outside of being busy, if you can’t take the time for those who can’t come to you to order, just stop doing online deliveries.

I’m not gonna stretch this but at the end of the day, if y’all can’t do it, then don’t do it, I give this local gem too many chances, and it’s only been in the last few months that they’ve done things like this (for...

I ordered a ham and turkey chef salad. Had 2 issues with it. They didn't have red onions which is a must with a salad. Another issue was, i asked for crackers were told they didn't have any . I replied that "the eatery was slipping" in a joking way, the lady serving me got offended and replied "they are hard to find". Wait a minute don't supermarkets sell crackers? Buy a few boxes and individually wrap as needed. There are tons of brands of crackers not to have any is a poor excuse and really unacceptable to me as a customer. Even if i was offered a piece of a roll as an alternative it's better than just not giving me anything. I love Sandwiches Unlimited I've been a faithful customer for over 40 years. Do better !!!.
