KFC — Restaurant in East Orange

I am a frequent patron of this restaurant. I usually go here to get my children’s food after school because they enjoy the food. I pulled up to order food through the drive through and was told the drive through was closed and I had to walk in. I had my kids in the car and it would have been an almost impossible task to gather them and go inside I inquired as to why the drive through was closed the lady who was operating the head set became very nasty and kept stating “the drive though was closed”. I was patient and confused and after several attempts to get an answer I was ignored. Eventually after me just sitting In the drive though awaiting a response she still continue to withhold a response. I stated to her that the hours on the sign stated the drive through was still open and was genuinely confused. After several attempts to get an explanation I was ignored again. Eventually after the several attempts I asked for the drive through operators name, she was reluctant to respond and finally stated “you can go ahead and complain”. KFC – Central Ave, East Orange needs serious help!

This location has the most incompetent staff I’ve ever seen. Nobody reads the order tickets, nobody pays attention, and it’s like they just don’t care. How do you serve food with no utensils when the ticket literally says “please provide utensils”? You expect people to eat chicken and sides with their hands? That’s ridiculous.

Every single time, something is wrong — missing sauces, wrong items, or half the order forgotten. Then they’ve got the nerve to charge full price! The management clearly doesn’t care, and the staff needs retraining immediately.

Reading is fundamental, and if you can’t even follow basic instructions or make sure customers get what they paid for, you shouldn’t be working in food service. KFC corporate really needs to look into this location because this level of carelessness is beyond...

Terrible experience in this place, no bathroom was working or enabled so the only cashier at 2:30 p.m. couldn't even wash her hands. On January 19, he told me that they sold mayonnaise that could only give me ketchup and then he ignored me when I asked for napkins on 3 occasions because the napkin dispenser was empty.
