BEWARE DRIVE THROUGH CASHIER STEALING CARD INFORMATION!!
My husband and I decided to go to this Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen's drive-through instead of going out to eat a restaurant since it was getting late and our kids were hungry (it was about 8:30is). Well little did we know what would happen a few days later. We placed our order and then pulled up to the drive-through window, where my husband proceeded to give his debit card to the cashier (unfortunately, I wasn't paying much attention and did not realize this happened) apparently this cashier did not give him his card back until she gave us our order 5 minutes later. We pulled off and I asked him why did she not give the card back right away (which is policy) Keep in mind: this drive through has that safety spin window feature so I wasn't able to get too good a view of her face, I do recall her stature though. I wanted my husband to drive back around so that we could inquire with the cashier and hopefully speak to the manager but he thought I was overreacting upon telling him that she would likely attempt to use our card information soon. Well, I was right, not even 2 days later our bank notifies us of a few suspicious transactions and wanted us to confirm whether we made these transactions, there were 4 in total (2 for fashionnova, one for some place called unice mall and one attempting to place an order for another clothing company through PayPal) for a total of upwards to $500 in merchandise. I was livid and wanted to reach out to the popeyes manager but don't waste your time calling because they NEVER answer the phone. So, we contacted Popeyes corporate to let them know of this incident and were told that they would reach out to the store manager and contact us back if they need more information. We will spread this EVERYWHERE until Popeyes does something about this and will NEVER go to another Popeyes EVER again. We are also considering further action because this is downright ridiculous that this young girl thinks she can just steal from people, only the Lord knows how many other people she hit that same night! And of course outside of constantly calling the store with no answer, we decided to go back to the store to try to obtain the manager's name but the employees were not willing to let us know that information.    Read moreThis was by far the worst fast food store I've ever been to in my life. I spent a total of 40 minutes here and that wasn't because I was dining in, it was because I was sitting in the drive-thru the whole time. I pulled into the drive-thru at 12:15am. I wasn't able to place my order with the cashier until 12:45am. I had to yell and repeat my order 3 times for the cashier to hear me because the staff was yelling and being loud inside the store. There was a group of 4 or 5 people standing in the adjacent parking lot making orders and receiving them through a side door of the establishment. They were yelling, using obscene language, banging on the door for someone to come outside, walking in between and around cars and just making the situation all around uncomfortable.On two occasions the side door was opened and bags were bought out by staff. I don't know if this is a common practice but that can be seen as something that risk management may want to look into. I pulled up to the window and made my payment for my order. By this point its 12:50am. I look to my right and one of the people mentioned earlier is on the side of my car and now gazing into my car for whatever reason. I get my bag with my food and then leave the drive-thru at 12:55am. The only positive part about this entire ordeal was that my food was ok and that the cashier was nice.    Read moreI made an order at 1257am. with Ms.Ashley at Popeyes in east orange #2513..My order wasn't right at all! I brought 6 piece spicy pepper wings, medium Cole slaw and a strawberry lemonade..she told me it was $10.49 but I'm uncertain of the exact total due to her unclear low speaking voice behind the glass drive through window..I she asked me to repeat my order twice..in which I did then I asked her to repeat it back..she repeat it right..when I pulled to the window I gave her $20.40 she only gave me a box full of ghost pepper wings no Cole slaw neither drink..before I could say anything she moved away from the window quickly..I stayed and beeping the horn then had to flag someone down to let them know My order wasn't complete..The nice young lady asked what did I get..I told her and she gave it to me..It wasn't untill I pulled off after checking my bag for my change that I realized she NEVER GAVE ME MY MONEY! I looked at the recipe and saw that it was totally wrong..It also stated that I didnt have cash back..I am completely upset about this abd and will be going back to retrieve my $..I couldn't turn back because I'm on my midnight lunch break.... please check your bags and make sure you receive your change.. I dont know if she's doing this to others but my next step is a complaint with corporate tomorrow9/25/2024..if this doesnt get resolved when I return with my recipe and I hope that they can see my money on camera as...
