Joe's Original Pizza Enola — Restaurant in East Pennsboro Township

11/13/2023 We tried again since their right around the corner from us and yet again disappointing. The onion rings and french fries tasted like they were cooked earlier and then just warmed up. The lady said oh no we just put them in the frier. She didn't offer to make a fresh one or refund. Didn't even apologize. maybe the frier needs cleaned? Who knows but that was the worst french fries and onion rings I have ever had and the pizza is mediocre. Giving this place NO more chances. (2020) Just rude!! Very very rude!! I called in for just a pizza at 7:58. Online it says open till 10pm. He told me park out front, 10mins because I am closing!. Well okay then! Told my husband to be there within the 10mins since their closing. He got there by 8:08. We were not told to call in when we called in there. Someone comes out tells my husband theres a sign that says call in. Why wouldn't you just say that on the phone? This isn't the first time I have been talked to rudely by the owner. The other time his delivery guy forgot my cheese sticks but gave me my extra marinara I asked for. But I gave them a second chance. NEVER AGAIN NOW. This place is amazing!!! I have been searching for a really good pizza and sub place for quite some time. You know the kind that the bread is made fresh for the subs and the pizza crust that holds up and doesn't get mushy and has good flavor. I was so impressed with the Super Italian Sub. This sub actually had meat on it! Not the kind that has wafer thin slices and only a few at best. This one was full and really satisfying! Highly recommend this sub! I also got a large cheese pizza that was on special and it was sooooo good! The crust was amazing! it held the sauce without getting mushy. The crust was soft and had a little crisp outside. I personally love having a crust on my pizza and this was one I actually enjoyed! The guy who delivered my food was really nice and actually took the time to thank me for the order and for being a customer. I ended up calling in to thank the owner for the food being so good and he was so sweet! Often times we are so quick to complain, but as he noted, it made his day for just telling him how good everything was and he genuinely appreciated it! My family and I have always loved pizza. We are true pizza enthusiasts, there’s nothing better than a good slice! Even though I’m young and humble, I used to frequently visit New York City, which is known for having the best pizza. However, I also had an incredible pizza experience in Paris, France, that was surprisingly amazing.

Since moving back to Pennsylvania, I've been on the hunt for good pizza. Unfortunately, the place we stopped at recently was quite disappointing. Despite being lactose intolerant, my family and I have found that we can sometimes enjoy a good slice, especially when the ingredients are fresh. It seems that fresh cheese doesn’t bother us as much, possibly because it’s not processed.

Regrettably, I would rate this pizza spot just a 2 out of 10. The crust was not crunchy, the ingredients were bland, and overall, we were not impressed. The only highlight was my dog, who enjoyed the pizza. In fact, the best thing we had from this pizza place was a refreshing Coca-Cola served in a glass. I do not recommend...
