Could’ve been food poisoning. On Thursday, July 1, 2021 my friend and I tried Diggers for the first time. We both ordered the haddock fish sandwich that came with fries, Tatar sauce and cole-slaw. The food was placed in a container and tied in a bag. I believe this is why I didn’t immediately identify its disgusting odor. When I got home I realized that the coleslaw was room temp and rancid. Far more importantly, it had gone bad - and not just slightly but so you get that strong, revolting, ammonia smell. I am suspicious of all the positive reviews as my experience was that they 1)don't know how to charge the right amount and 2)they knowingly sell putrid fish...
