The Outsider — Restaurant in East Providence

My wife and I stopped in last night for date night, as we had heard good things about the new neighborhood restaurant. What an awesome meal and dining experience- Vic shared his background with us and the origin story of the restaurant, which is a real family effort. We also met a family of four who was in town visiting for the weekend and ended up having great conversation. We ordered a Greek salad that was delicious, mussels in a great white wine broth, and a Hawaiian pizza with bacon. The dough on the pizza was awesome! Nice ambient music, great aesthetics and we look forward to coming back and trying everything...

My friend & I went there on a rainy Sunday afternoon to get some pizza & I was absolutely blown away by this place! We ordered a greek pizza & within 20 minutes it was brought to us. I’m very particular about my pizza & have high standards, but The Outsider’s pizza checked off all of my boxes. The service staff were very friendly & they had some great music playing to set the mood. Best of all, this experience can be had for a great price! I can’t say enough good things about this local gem! Everything is made from scratch, and you can absolutely taste the difference. As someone who considers themselves an unofficial aficionado of Caesar salad lol, I have to say this one was perfection—rich, authentic, and absolutely delicious. The fettuccini (or maybe linguine?) with clam sauce was full of flavor and simply outstanding. And the pizza? Top-notch! Every bite was just excellent. I’m beyond satisfied with my experience and will definitely be returning soon....
