Gayas Cradle — Local services in East Providence

Gayas Cradle is the best place in the area to come to play magic. The reason is Wick and Jared put a lot of effort to foster an easy going, small group atmosphere and also take good care of their player base. I’ve been playing there 2-3 x/month as my schedule permits and I have seen generosity and kindness in many different forms which makes me feel comfortable coming back again and again. This compares to Other larger, more enfranchised stores where I feel like just a number…. This isn’t the case here.

There are bulk rare cards to sift through and an always changing pool of cards in the display case. Binders organized well, alphabetized and by color. Waxing and waning of sealed product as the purpose is to buy to play with vs to hoard to sell overpriced later.

Compared to other stores who have young kids or behind the counter who don’t don’t anything, Jared and Wick actively play magic and are quite knowledgeable and will do their best to help get you what you need.

The community of players has some variety like any other store. A good feature of Gayas Cradle is the effort they take input from their player base on developing events. It may not always come together, but it’s the effort that counts, resulting having some interesting drafts and commander games.

Rewards for paid events are fair and never unbalanced or manipulative… Rules / judge calls are enforced and are fair… flexible enough to allow for fun but also firm enough to control for people who manipulate / abuse the game.

I've been visiting/shopping/playing at Gayas Cradle at least once a week for about a year now and only have positive things to say. The owners are knowledgable, but also extremely accommodating. They don't carry a ton of sealed product, but always carry something I want. Singles binders/display cases are updated frequently and there's a Discord people use for trading.
