Ordered online. Picked up at window, pulled up and could clearly see someone in the drive thru window who’d promptly walked away. Shortly after, an employee walked out of the back door to go home… We Waited 20 more mins or so even though we’d received a message letting us know our order was ready. Eventually I get out of the car to walk around to front door, someone appeared at the window volunteering that they didn’t know we were there and the wind sometimes prevent them from knowing of customers at the window. I don’t recall high winds yesterday. Next, they gave us food that was actually SPOILED or going bad. The burgers had a funny smell, the lettuce, tomatoes and onions were old as well. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had with any Armando’s Restaurant ever which has always been a favorite of mine ever since I can remember. I’ve moved to the ATL and often look forward to getting food from home. I will NEVER stop here again, if that is what you wanted for whatever reason, MISSION ACCOMPLISHED. I actually ended up vomiting up what part of the of the food I’d eaten. Our bill was close to $40, it was a waste of our money, time and expectation as we were really looking forward to some good ol’ Armando’s then hit the road back to the A! I am also considering reporting this to proper officials. I am super hurt by this as I was not alone. My son and mother were also with me. My mom expressed her meat smelled as well. This happened on 12-04-2024, must have been at...
Read moreI haven't been to this location in YEARS. And I can tell it's probably not ran by the same folks as before. Per the Google menu prices updated 7 months ago, I was expecting to pay $5.25 for chili cheese fries and $7.99 for a fried chicken salad. Instead, I paid $8.75 for the salad and $6.75 for the fries. I have no issue with inflation. It's everywhere. My issue is what I paid a whopping $17 for... The salad was actually decent. I had a bite of chicken for every 6 bites of salad lol. But that's fine. The ranch dressing tastes like someone poured mayo all over your food. Like someone forgot the ranch seasonings. I paid for extra ranch, but still only got 2. I asked the rude girl at the window if that was "extra" and she said it was. So a giant to go plate full of salad only gets 1 single cup of dressing lol. More than half of your salad will be dry unless you pay for extra. I wouldn't have even complained about the salad. The chili fries though. Absolutely never again. I don't even think I wanna eat here again at all after the fries lol. You pay almost $7 for a small.. SMALL.. container of a handful of the stalest fries topped with basically Hormel canned chili is what it tasted like. I feel like I paid almost $20 for a plate of lettuce with a side of 1...
Read moreI'm editing my review. I can't complain about their service. I've eat from here 3 times now, same thing every time. BLT & onion rings. 1st time. No issues. 2nd time, I couldn't finish my meal so I put it in the fridge. Reheated the rings next day & let me say... the rings were still good yet I was sick for 2 days with my stomach. 3rd time. I eat the whole meal. Its been over a week & again...my stomach has been absolutely killing me. I've had food poisoning before & worked for an ER. So I know the symptoms well. I'm not saying thats whats going on but it sure resembles it. It happens & usually in smaller eateries & restaurants. Could simply be the fryers, oils, etc. Could have even been bad onions. Idk if others have had this issue or not. But just wanted to give the review just in case someone else is having the same problem. I would still eat from Armandos. My husband loves their burgers so much & I love the BLT so next order. I'll get fries. Thats what he & my daughter get when they have food from here and they have no issues at all. Love the folks there, everyone is so friendly & from what I've observed. They're very clean. Id...
