Haiku Hibachi — Restaurant in East Ridge

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE!!

I have bought many meals from them but not after what happened last night. It was about 8:00 so dusky dark I spotted An SUV with a family with 2 toddlers. One was 2 the other 3 that had, had a blow out. I saw them going down and when I came back. I had a Jack so I stopped to see if they needed help.

Come to find out they had just pulled out from Wslgreens from picking up meds for the dad laying in the back from having major surgery and they were headed home. My Jack wouldn't remove there lugs so we called the E.R. police to ask. They came and the officer went above and beyond to help them.

The 2 toddlers had to pee so the mom took them in this place to pee and the female ininside told them no, they had no time for American's and ran them out. I had bought food earlier and was shocked so I went in. The female became agitated and I told her she was safe the police were outside and that the toddlers just needed to per please. She said NO, ran us out and locked the door.

As much as I have bought from this place, I will NEVER GO AGAIN! If you only like American's for our money, then you don't get this American's money!!!!

After what I wittnessed last night. They don't deserve 1 star. Quality is also how you treat...

I have eaten here a few times. I never regret it. I do feel like sometimes depending who is cooking the food tastes better on some days than others, but I can tell the employees here are very nice and hardworking and they try to have a clean environment for their customers. It's not the best hibachi in town, but good for a lot of okay/decent tasting food at a fair price. I would say sometimes the seasoning/marinade on the meat could be better but most of the time it is good and the prices here are perfect/very fair. The crab Rangoons are very good. Sometimes the sweet carrots are too sweet for me so I just sometimes have them leave them out. It kinda looks like a dive from the outside but the colors of the building are awesome. I know it is hard in this economy but I think if the owners could invest some in repainting the beautiful colors of the building and maybe just cleaning up the landscaping of the outside it would really make the restaurant be even more attractive from the road and attract more customers if the beautiful colors...

I was there last night, let me first make you aware she told me she put extra white sauce in my bag because it's very good. She did not ask if I wanted it but they do charge, buyer beware of the eXtra $2.00 charge. They got me for a total $4 extra dollars. The food was ok. Carrots were outstanding. Then while reheating my food for lunch, I found a earring back while stirring my rice. I called to speak to the manager the first words out of her mouth with very distorted English is "are you calling from a company". I said "no I am a consumer" I am then told that the manager is not there and she became very rude. I really feel based on this establishmet and demographics they are not caring about quality or customer service and I will not be back. Also an FYI for all who are concerned the earring back was not mine. Both mine stayed in over night and I am the only one in this household that wears earrings....
