Amy's Place Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Easthampton

Planned a nice weekend dinner with the hubby and brother in law and his wife come to find out they have a dispensary right next door the hubby and and brother in law decided to go in right after we came in this bar and grill as soon as we walked in all eyes was on us Wich made us uncomfortable we sat down all four of us and was talking about the business next door the owner and the people he was sitting down with kept staring at us i immediately understood it was because we are black. the owner came to us and Demanded that we exit the restaurant and go put the gummies that we just purchased all the way in our cars … I was so confused because Easthampton is a 4:20 friendly town,u literally have a dispensary next door literally the same building other people came in from the dispensary right after us and was not asked to leave … this was a very nasty experience unfortunately it felt kind of racist and we was judged right away it’s a sad situation how is this world going to have some change with this behavior still happening we left it was to embarrassing for us I’m confused I really tough this town people support one another especially...

I stopped in the evening for a quick bite before attending a music event next door. I ordered a sandwich with fries and a soda. The sandwich was really full, the fries were a very generous helping, and the soda had free refills. Since I was by myself, I sat at the bar. They had three TV's going, each with a different basketball game, so it's a very sports oriented place. When the manager walked by, he asked me which game I was watching to make sure I was watching what I wanted. He wanted to be sure my overall experience was enjoyable. I could see into the other part of the restaurant which was tables and more TV's. The place was busy and the servers never stopped moving, but everyone was very pleasant. Price wise, it was typical for the area, but a better deal than some. My meal came to $25. With the overstuffed sandwich, large heaping of fries, soda with refills, and tip, it was in the ballpark. Three stars because the atmosphere and people here are always great, but I'm super disappointed about the menu change. There are no vegan options. Went there on Friday and tried to find a creative way to sub things out and make one of their meals work, but they weren't doing substitutions because their kitchen was too busy. I don't blame them for that -- I know most restaurants are understaffed -- I just wish there had been an option for me. We even tried ordering nachos, just without cheese, and were served a plain plate of very overcooked chips with zero toppings.The server was good enough to take that off of our bill once she saw that (we didn't eat them), but again, it left us with nothing to eat. So we finished our beers and went elsewhere.
