Firstly, I want to acknowledge that this 50 Arrow Gallery is unique in its representation of artists starting with compensation of any work sold, the artist receives full payment for their work on display. There is no gallery cut. I also really respect the intentions and focus of this Gallery in seeking and representing artists of color. As a working class disabled Community member. I really welcome the accessibility of the art space. Located on ground floor extremely close to the gallery. There are armless chairs that allow me to sit and view the work in comfort. This culture venue hits 3 important values fur me personally, class consciousness a deep commitment to representing diverse voices and accessibility in a myriad of ways including covid mask protocol during open gallery hours. It's an incredible art gallery with amazing art and artists and a deep commitment to representing diverse voices in the arts as well as the thriving of our communities, especially our most marginalized communities. Their thoughtful and beautifully curated art shows and events combined with their dedication to build, care for and hold community is something to be admired and modeled after.
