My partner have been living in Eastho for 3 years now and Mt. Tom’s instantly became a summer, spring, fall AND winter favorite! We love the old candy shop vibe and the creative specialty flavors! During quarantine, Mt. Tom’s has continued to keep the community full of ice cream with their curbside pick up options, and this year for my partner’s birthday we opted for the sundae box. I lost track of time and missed my window for pick up. Instead of the shop closing leaving our box stranded for 3 days, I got a call and a staff member stayed late allowing me to come pick it up! Read moreThe atmosphere is welcoming. The shop keeper was patient and friendly with my LO. Something I grately appreciate as they were understandably excited about the yummy treat they were about to consume. The ice cream was phenomenal. Definitely worth it in price and portion size. Both were great flavors, however Im a bit biased towards burnt flavored treats so if I had to pick one out of the two, it would have to be the burnt sugar. Thank you for the wonderful experience and we look forward to coming back and trying more yummy...

However, I did notice that the salted caramel scoop was noticeably smaller than the coffee one. It felt a bit uneven in portion size, which was a little disappointing since I was really looking forward to that flavor as well.
Overall, it was a great treat and I would love to come back — I just hope next time the scoops are a bit more...
