Hungry Howie's Pizza — Restaurant in Eastpointe

Terrible! Terrible! Terrible! The food is amazing, as is food at all hungry Howie's stores.... But, If you're looking to wait for 1.5 hours to be told over and over that your order will be out in 6 minutes, then you're in the right place. Watched more than 3 other customers request a refund because they were sick of waiting for their order (after waiting 2 hours). Watched 2 customers have to come to the actual store because their delivery never showed up. (After waiting for an hour for their order to show up and it not even being ready when they got to the store). Listened to the manager that was more concerned about how an order was placed and who took the order than he was to make the order and get it out the door. (These weren't difficult elaborate orders, either.) I'm not sure how a store can have so many employees on the floor and have such a long wait. Maybe if the manager would shut his mouth and stop worrying about stupid simple details, the wait wouldn't be so long and everything would run a lot smoother at the store I've had nothing but problems from this store, but I always convince myself into giving it another try because it is the closet to me.... There's always an issue. This was the last time I will be trying to order...

I have never had problems until Danielle the black manager starting working there. This idiot literally harasses me everytime I come there and I love hungry howies and didn't let that get in the way. My pizza came with a drink and I told the guy I was grabbing my drink and he acknowledge. Danielle (manager) came storming out of the store and stated you didn't pay for that and don't come back. Ive been going there over 15 yrs. I called and complained to the district manager again about her. The next day I notice my transaction I made was voided for $9.00 and a new was was added to my credit card $10.60. the manager stated it was a void and a drink was added. There was no drink on my receipt and it came with my meal. Bottom line Danielle was so pissed about that water she went back in the system and re rung my credit card for the water after I left. This is fraud and I disputed the charge to have this reverse. I wrote a consumer complaint because this is a violation. Im also prosecuting her for going into my account without my permission. Update: The store manager is extremely rude and I will no longer return my business here. Update: Got a response from upper management finally and greatly appreciate that they got ahold of me and explained how it might have happened and furthermore replaced my order. It took a little more time than I would have liked, but great save by them.

They served me plastic in my food 12/23/24 I've reported it to the store, to corporate, and now to MDARD. It is very serious that I could have choked on or consumed this foreign object in my food. Nobody has actually resolved my case so I'm leaving this review as a warning to future patrons that this restaurant does not practice safe/healthy standards for our hard-earned meals and they don't care about hurting anybody as long as they...
