Let's start with the order taker hates their job. No matter who takes the order whenever I pull up the person hates their job. No matter when I have pulled up and placed a order they sound attitud-ish, mumbling all the time. I'm not saying they have to give "Merry Poppins Joy" vibes but just a friendly tone goes a long way.
The person at the window who take the payment is hit or miss. I'll leave it at that
The worst experience is the getting the food. I worked in restaurant so I can stop expired fries that's been sitting that they re-dipped in grease.
The sandwiches sometimes have had browning lettuce not browning to the point it's unedible but browning that you know it was about to go bad and instead of them replacing it they just slapped it on the sandwich and don't think people open up their food to look at it.
And lastly the sloppy packaging and attitude getting the food just completely infuriates me. To get handed a bag of food and the french fries are lying sideways and literally spilled all out sends me into a silent rage. Fries spilled out sandwich not properly wrapped and coming out the package down in the bag. I don't know why McDonald's said that's the best way to serve food is with our french fries sideways spilling and then you are digging all in the bed trying to get to your fries instead of off the container. Maybe I'm old-fashioned but I like my food with a decent presentation at least fake like you made and put in the bag care with the care they make for themselves and or families they take good home too.
And if you ask for something that THEY FORGOT they have a complete attitude and make you wait 10 minutes or more off to the side. CRAZY!
Their attitudes are nasty. They literally don't care. They just want to sling your food out and get you out the line when if they did their job correctly in the first place everything would run smoothly and they wouldn't always be in a rush with a line wrapped behind yonder.
I also am aware in all fairness the line could be wrapped because you have people who call off from work and don't show up which is no fault of McDonald's if they're hiring people who just don't want to work.
So I'll show a tad bit of grace for that other than that, this McDonald's, is just as bad as the one on 9 Mile and eastpointe. I really HATE going to both of them.
Still I go back from time to time to give them another chance because things can change in an instant, retraining of staff, new hires, new managers, retrained managers, can make the experience better.
Well hopefully the next time I visit I'll have with positive accolades.
I'm more than happy to go back and edit my review with a date to show different from today. But for now they suck! Read moreThis place is a nightmare. Went there last weekend and ordered 3 sausage/egg/cheese McMuffins, 4 hasbrowns, and a sausage/egg biscuit. Got all the way back to find out there was no cheese on the McMuffins and the hasbrowns were limp and undercooked but soaked in grease (fryer not hot enough). So I called and complained. I spoke to Tammy, the customer service manager. She was nice but defended the workers and made the excuse the crew was new. She offered to replace my meal. I was satisfied with that. So, today I went in this morning and ordered the exact same thing I did previously. It took 15 minutes standing there waiting. The young lady at the register was very polite and made small talk to pass the time. She was fighting with her receipt printer and asked the manager for help, to which he replied, "You see me working over here. Why you got to bother me?". My jaw just hit the counter. The young lady said, "This woman just paid for her order. I'd like to give her the receipt.". The manager said, "Y'all gonna have to wait." and proceeded to the back of the kitchen. Mind you I have been waiting in an empty store, watching orders fly out the drive through. At this point I'm now late for work. So, I ask the young lady if it was going to be much longer. She apologized and then went to bag my order that was completely ignored by at least two other staff. She asked the girl making the sandwiches for one item of mine she was missing. The girl was snappy and rude, loud and condescending. That cashier deserves a raise. For being that young and that composed... She's an asset! Finally I get my order and run out because now I'm very late. THIS time there was NO EGG on any sandwiches. That crew, aside from the cashier that was so kind and polite, should ALL be fired. Tammy is NOT doing a good job there. She rang my order and disappeared. She should have followed through and checked the order. Read moreBad Vibes...I went to this Establishment at 10a on A SATURDAY and the Service was TRASH.... I Ordered 2 #2 with an Extra sandwich.... My order came and they gave me... An egg Mc Muffin with Ham on 2 of the sandwiches.... When I Explained my order After I turned around and went back... My Son had Already ate over Half his Sandwich and over Half the HashBrown... When I arrived I told The Young lady that was not My Order.. She went back in and came back and said That's your order... I told her i didn't order Ham... After going back and forth ... I ask for a refund.... My order Total 22.xx.... She have me back 9.xx... I went in the inside and said I want a full refund.... Another lady said you didn't return the drinks... I said no problem... Then another lady gave me 5 more dollars... I said this is not my refund.... Can you just please give me my money back and that's it... Then the lady said... Oh You ate the sandwich and a hash brown... I can't give you money back on food you ate.... I said no if you look in the bag my son did not eat all his food...The lady said yes he did and I'm not giving you a full refund... To make a long story short...
