Azul Tequila Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Eau Claire

UPDATE: Upon returning home my girlfriend reported that, even though they botched 3/4 of the order and caused two round trip drives, their attempt to make it right was downright disrespectful. Not only did they not provide a refund for the THREE incorrect meals as per industry standard, these stingy, poor businesspeople tried to offer a FIVE DOLLAR GIFT CERTIFICATE when they screwed up 3/4 of a near-$40 order. To recap, they screw up, refund nothing, and offer five bucks on ANOTHER order, expecting the customer to spend even more money to get their measly five bucks. That's not even enough for one meal at this place.

This restaurant used to be my favorite Mexican place in town for both dine-in and take-out. Today I ordered two kid's meals and two adult entrées for take-out. They got ONE plate right. That's right, ONE. My girlfriend is on the way back to the restaurant to see what they do about this.

Eating my food which was the only thing they got right, I notice that the portion is much smaller than it used to be. This chimichanga used to fill almost an entire plate. The steak is noticeably cheaper and is tougher with more fatty gristle.

I'll update when we find out what they did about this grossly large mistake. I don't think it's a mistake that other Local Guides have started rating this...

I'm from out of town and as a Hispanic/latino person who love authentic food , was invited by a friend to this restaurant. Food was amazing the reason why I'm giving it 1 star is due to service and customer appreciation . There was a server who helped us first dont know her name but it was nice lady who took our order she disappeared and some guy with bland tainted hair finished giving us our food . We were there for a while and no server or the guy himself went to say anything , we need refills in out drinks . No one came so I shook my hand , and made noise with my ice cup to get the attention . He finally notice and came to our table and said " do not ever do that cup shake again understand " Therefore I answered " with all due respect you need to more attendant to your table . The fact that he was sitting on his phone and eating. If you on break then who is taking care of your tables. I recommend this place only if he isnt there . After that he got me my drink and started been more attendant to the table, when he had to do that in the beginning. Do not be rude to your customers . If you took the message wrong I'm sorry but dont expect to be nice to people faster your rude to then .

Well, we arrived at 7pm. Got set down. Chips were hot!. We ordered bean/cheese dip and had already ate the chips. There we sat with dip but no chips. Then we ordered. 4 of us. 1 had a Chimichanga, I ordered 3 Tacos (beef), and 2 others a burrito style plate. Food arrives, and there we sat looking at it. No silverware! Was told plates are hot, cold as ice. I ordered 3tacos, but not these 3. They had chicken on them. Chimichanga was doughy!. Finally got silverware after get someone attention. Too much partying going on in the kitchen. Waiter only refilled 2 of our waters while all 4 were empty. Went to pay the bill and told them about the Chimichanga being wrong and was told that it was correct, the cooks just didn't fry it! So that was not a Chimichanga then, just a dough wrapped meat sandwich. If you eat cookie dough raw, you are not eating a cookie! Sorry we were an inconvenience to the staff that didn't want to serve people but wanted to party instead. One star...
