This place, this glorious place, it is only made brighter by the star of my life…Amanda. Where do I even begin to describe the way that you make me feel. You have always been there for me when I needed a beverage, it leaves me yearning, just begging for more. Whenever I am forced to leave your presence it makes me weep. Yet when I see you again, I weep for joy knowing I can once again be in your field of view. I love visiting and knowing that I can play such classic folk songs such as “here with me” and “until I found you” we both sit at the bar and sing them out loud. I loathe the times where I can’t be around you and imagine others getting served beverages by you. It leaves me shattered, broken, and twisted wondering why such a cruel world could carry on. Yet my feelings get rescued the exact moment I see your beautiful and gorgeous face. I could write about you and the experience you leave me with for hours. Yet I will leave it here. We go here on a regular basis, twice weekly. We had ordered the chicken boneless wings ($15) with BBQ and fries ($3.50.) My husband and I usually split the bill and pay for what we ordered. He also ordered a beer. I gave him a $20 bill to pay for half of the wings and half of the fries. The beer he was paying for. My drink was a water. So my half of the bill would have been $10. He used my cash to pay for my half. When he got the change back we got $7.75. I knew right away it was wrong. So he went to talk to the manager and she yelled at him telling him he got the correct change. I was so irritated I couldn't talk to her. I needed to calm down. I couldn't stand the way she spoke to him. If my part of the bill is $10, and I give you $20, I would expect to get $10 back. I was going to talk to someone the next day but I could tell I was still fired up about it. So, lesson is, pay attention to your bill and regardless of your frustration level, say...

The "regulars" are extremely rude. I've heard from a few people that they've been told to move at a spot at the bar if they sit in "their" seat when they had just walked through the doors. Then coming there myself, I felt the hostility. I usually wouldn't review on this, because it's not usually the establishments fault. Although, the owner was sitting right there with them and made a few comments that I could tell were demeaning towards me. Just not a friendly place and I don't want others to feel unwelcomed, like I did. So I chose to review. One bartender was very sweet and kind, the other was not so much.
