I have shopped Hope for several years. I am so pleased to spend my money at a local business that truly puts back into the community. They help so many, and if you shop here...by way of your purchases, you help many as well. I have found many items over the years that have served our family well at great prices. I find that most prices are quite reasonable. Once in ahwile, I find an item that is a bit out of my price range, but that is no problem knowing that in 1-3 weeks that item will go 25-50% off. And if by chance the item has sold by then, I expect that it wasn't meant to be mine anyway. And, new items flow out to the sales floor daily so something just as great will come along shortly. They have a great rotating sale system. If you ask a sales associate to explain it, they are most helpful. Speaking of staff, we have always had a great experiences with the staff. They work to build a team that is willing to serve and assist! From manangement to cashier to donation acceptance; all staff is friendly and kind. I am proud to shop Hope Gospel. ...

We just moved to Eau Claire and need to furnish our new home on a very tight budget. The worker was very helpful and welcomed us warmly to the community. Most things were priced reasonably and the 50% off items were a great deal. She explained when different items went on sale different days of the week and told us where to get a 20% off coupon to use on a regular price item we couldn't afford at full price. She also informed us about the rewards program since we told here we would be buying a lot of items over the next few months. They put our names in the computer and each time we go in it tallies our purchases and after so much we get free stuff! Never heard of a thrift store doing this before. Nice people and employees, but I'M HOPING, still Overpriced for a "Bargain" center. Even when I was One of the Two first woman that resided at the women's shelter, and worked at the " bargain" center, I felt that they price items higher than needed. Especially when people who are indigent or on the lower income bracket shop there. And instead of a 15$ voucher to help those poor to get clothing, it would be nice that it could be like an entire outfit and like a jacket along with a pair of shoes if Needed.
