Me and my family visited Italian Village Pizza in Ebsenburg pa, because it’s the closest pizza place to NYC Pizza. They happened to be out of the half gallon teas so we were told we could get the pints that equaled to the amount. Cool no problem. We were told this before and the server told us 4 pints. Well today we were told 3. 🤔 We told our server that a half gallon equals 4 pints. She went and checked with the manager Lena. Who told her that it is 3 pints and if “Those” people want 4 pints then they need to pay for it. Idk who “those” people where that she was referring to but if she was indicating to us and our race-It was VERY INAPPROPRIATE. Especially with her being a manager! We told her it was 4 pints that equal a half gallon. She preceded to tell the waiter that it was 3 because 5 pints make a WHOLE gallon. Which is incorrect. 4 pints make a half and 8 pints make a whole gallon. Lena the manager was very rude, ignorant and not accommodating. The pizza was good but we will be on the lookout for a new pizza restaurant that doesn’t refer to people of color as “Those” people. Not once did apologize for...
Read moreJust ordered from here on Saturday afternoon. Order here every once in a blue moon and after my latest experience I remember why. Ordered large stromboli and dozen wings for delivery. Girl on the phone said that will be 45 to an hour kind of with an attitude in her voice like "yeah that's how long you have to wait and you'll like it". Arrived within that time frame from courteous young man. The wings were barely warm and dry. There was no mild sauce on the wings. The sauce was all on the bottom of the container so I had to dip my wings to get sauce. They tasted pretty good other than being dry, barely warm, and containing no sauce on them. The stromboli had a funny smell which I never did figure out. Like the wings this thing was lukewarm. Way too much salt and or garlic seasoning on it. I could barely eat it because of the salty seasoning. The pepperoni, ham, and cheese inside were ok. The best part was the sauce that came with it. It was pretty good. For spending 31 dollars after tipping the driver I expected better and hotter food. It will probably be awhile before I order for delivery...
Read moreWe've been here before and it was counter service only (order at the counter, eat at the table or carry out). This visit we were told to seat ourselves and the waitress promptly waited on us.
If a menu has spinach artichoke dip we always order it, it was just ok. Honestly it has a cardboard box type taste to it, like one you'd buy at the grocery store and pop in the microwave. The chips were stale tasting and you could tell they were tossed in the fryer and some weren't crisped back up. We wouldn't order it here again.
Pomodora Campanelle was the daily special good and came with a side salad and bread. It was good.
Veggie calzone was also delicious, despite ordering a small, half went home with me. But I did have a bit of spinach dip and chips.
There was only 1 waitress and despite a small crowd she was prompt, we did wait about 10 minutes for our check. There was a busy spell with take out orders and others paying at the counter (she took our check/payment at the...
