The Castle Pub — Restaurant in Ebensburg

Crazy place! The regulars love it (obviously since they're regulars). I chatted with a nice fella so I bumped up the rating. The food is below average bar food. Then again we did get there around 11PM, but i still expect a little better food from this bar. If you are a smoker you will love this place because they let you smoke inside the place. The music is loud and the folks can be rough but we were welcomed even though we stuck out a pretty good bit. A good place to hang with the fellas but not a good place to take a date.

Out riding and decided to stop in at The Castle Puband I’m glad I did. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by a warm, welcoming staff that makes you feel right at home. I started off with a cold lager, which hit the spot.

For lunch, I went with the fish, perfect choice. It was moist, flaky, and cooked to absolute perfection. The fries and onion rings on the side were just as impressive crispy, golden, and full of flavor.

This place was a great experience. I've had their wings before at Wing Offs, but I'd never been inside until this visit. The bartender and cook we had on Saturday were so friendly and helpful. We were recommended to try the honey stinging garlic sauce and it was so good on fries and the chicken sandwich. We were also given a sample of the mango habanero sauce. It does have a strong mango flavor, with just the right kick at the end. I also really love how it looks like a castle...
