The food was old, chicken was hard and stringy, the shrimp was so dry you could not take the shell off. I asked if fresh food would be coming out soon as the buffet was awful. The waitress asked and told us the woman running it said no more food would be brought out until what was their was gone. The salt and pepper chicken and shrimp had no shrimp in it. When I asked why the buffet bar had no heat to keep the food at temperature, I was told it had not worked in years. The woman running the place was rude to her staff. I heard her tell them she didn't care how long the food sat out there, and she would not put anymore out until it was all gone. You could taste the old oil the egg rolls were cooked in. For 45.00 I had rice and a few pieces of broccoli because from the honey chicken to the paper steak I could not find a piece of meat worth eating mostly hard and dry. My daughter had 3 plates of oranges because she could not eat the first plate of food it was so bad. I will never eat their again. Another couple who came out at the same time had the same experience. As I was talking to another gentleman outside who said " no you don't want to eat there." I asked an employee why the health department had not done something about the food bar and food. We were told she was friends with them so she got away with it. But that is just hear say... we are at home now and none of us feel well from what we did eat. If you want to throw your money away, enjoy it. We will not grace the doors of this...
Read moreEvery time we visit the female that seats you has an attitude and makes smart remarks. This last time we arrived during dinner pricing but she charged for lunch because the singer food gassed not been brought out yet (not my problem it was dinner time it should have been rang up that way) so...my mom gets shrimp which was on the buffet and she comes and starts in about us not being charged for that and wanted it back...I proceed to tell her why its her problem for not charging us for dinner during dinner hours..by this point everyone is looking at us and the manager got hateful as well. We had just fixed our second plate and because we were rudly interupted and embarrassed I was going to take our food pay and leave...but the manager insisted she was going to weigh the food we couldn't eat due to the commotion and charge us for that by the pound and the buffet too...so I responded with here are your choices A. Im taking the meal you interrupted paying for the buffet and leaving or B. Ill walk out of here and not pay for anything because it wasnt all we could eat it was all we could eat until they started their mess..needless to say I took my food home..paid the lunch price and WILL NOT be returning...
Read moreFirst thing some clean plates had food particles on it. Overlooked cause dishwashers are never 100% garunteed. Picked a variety of food, it was all luke warm at best. I remember commenting that the heat lamp needed to be turned up. Then when the cook came out to refill the fries the open sneezed and then proceeded to remove the container for the sugar dough from the buffet table and use the serving tongs to reach into the buffet table to try and grab something. They then took the contaminated tongs and put them handle and all into the sugar dough tray that still had food in it and put it out to serve. I had already finished my food and after seeing this stopped and let my friend know not to get more. While paying I watched the kitchen staff from the counter and verified that at least the one in plain view was handling food without gloves as kinda cherry on top. Ive had mild food poisoning for the last 48 hours but my friend who had the fried dough has has been severely sick. They need to clean up their act and be more...
