On Mother’s Day of this year I placed an online order so I could have dinner with my mom. I ordered a burger, loaded fries and the pickle fries($30) and the wait time said 13 minutes online. I didn’t ask for a specific time that’s what the website said it would be. When I got there after 30 minutes because I did realize it was Mother’s Day I saw a massive wait but HALF the restaurant booths being used. I tell the hostess I have an online order and she tells me to go to the bar. When I get to the bar the bartender says that they do not have the pickle fries and offer me something else in return. Again, realizing it’s Mother’s Day I didn’t want to wait and ask how to get my refund back on to my card. She goes to talk to some guy and says I have to request the refund online. Which that’s about $8. I go get out of the way so patrons visiting to celebrate Mother’s Day could sit and I could be with my own mother. I open my Togo order and my loaded fries weren’t there just plain fries. If the pickle fries had been there I would’ve just took the loss but because I had already been inconvenienced and I never rushed the order I called to the restaurant. Spoke with someone initially that was rude and told me to “take it up with the manager”. The manager got on and didn’t want to give me her name. She just told me to come back sometime and they’ll replace the food which was sort of odd. She never asked for my name or anything to try to fix the order which was basically me giving $15 free for food not made. When I said that the manager Cheryl told me “well it is Mother’s Day”. That’s not my problem. I placed the online order and the time that the website told me it would be ready wasn’t a me issue. And I expressed a concern that at a certain point it seemed negligent but Cheryl didn’t care in the least. Most times I would not post a review but this was most certainly more than frustrating and the fact I was just visiting Eden for Mother’s Day to not even be able to get my replacement warrants this post and I hope any Regional managers or District managers can let staff know that stealing basically half the money and not fixing it...
Read moreMe, my husband, and our 2 young daughters stopped n here for lunch the other day. It was about 4 pm on Saturday and it was pretty much dead, which was fine with us. It took our server quite sometime tho to greet us which was odd considering jus how not busy they were. Which was fine, we had sometime to kill so wasn't n a big hurry. My daughter ordered mr.pibb (well dr.pepper bit it's coke products so Mr. Pibb, same thing) server went to get our drinks only to come back to let us kno they were out of Mr. Pibb. (I guess not her job to replace the empty soda bag with a fresh one... and must've been to much for her to ask..but anyways) So we order our food I got the ultimate crispy chicken sandwich, my husband the Mahi (I think or some other fish) 1 kid got pasta marinara and the other the salad bar (I myself added on the salad bar for like 5$!) Needless to say everything was pretty much empty when we went up there to get our salads. It was, I dnt want to say dirty, but that's pretty much the only way to describe it. Looked as if people had jus been picking up stuff with their hands...the entire restaurant looked kinda dirty, like it hadn't been mopped or dusted or really cleaned n quite awhile. My husband said his food was great tho my food was great as well the atmosphere however made me a little weary to eat the food and my youngest loved her pasta. Obviously the one who got salad bar left there still hungry but overall the food was great! Our bill ended up being 60$+ which I realize all food has gone up but 2 kids meals (like 6$) a sandwich (12$) and whatever my husband's was... the math wasn't mathin!! My husband liked to have fell out when he seen his sweet tea...
Read moreAbsolutely, 100% unacceptable experience. There were four people in our group and we got there around 5:00. We ordered a burger with zucchini, a well done steak with a baked potato without sour cream, a medium steak with caesar salad, and crispy chicken mac and cheese. Took 30 minutes to recieve starter salad, another 40 to get main course. Only the burger came out correct, but with a side of fries instead of zucchini. Both steaks came out blood red and when asked to fix them, one returned the same. The baked potato had sour cream instead of butter. The mac and cheese came out with three nugget sized pieces of chicken and was missing the flatbread it usually comes with. On top of that, both the noodles and cheese sauce were clearly undercooked and gritty. It was also spoiled and caused the person who ordered it to have an upset stomach all night. I refuse to accept this. Our server came by once the entire 2 HOURS we were there, leaving the manager on duty to handle essentially every job there was to do. Because of the extremely lousy service, we missed a church obligation that was supposed to happen at 7. Manager was extremely decent and removed two of our meals from the bill, and he should have being that they were inedible. Regardless of the fact that the manager was decent, none of this is okay. I will be reporting the spoiled mac and cheese to North Carolina Health...
