Frosty King — Restaurant in Edgewater

Casual drive through like spot. I may be a bit hard on stars for food, but it's because their ice cream is very sweet for our taste. If you like it sweet, this is the place for you. They limit you on how many flavors you can taste, and you have to ask for the taste at the register, making it a bit awkward. Obviously not a reason not to go here but you ought to know what you want.

NOTE to my updated review: I upped my stars because I got a reasonable response from the owner, something many businesses do not do with the care I'm experiencing which is what improves in services provided. We just moved to Edgewater and we'll sure stop by again to experience the recommendations we just received from the owner. We recently moved here from New York, and one of the best discoveries we’ve made as a family is Frosty King. After our son’s soccer practices and games, it’s become a little tradition to stop by—and honestly, it’s the highlight of our week.

Coming from always having places like Dairy Queen, it feels so refreshing to support a family-run shop that offers unique flavors, creative combinations, and those comforting tastes that feel like home. Every scoop has been a fun surprise, and you can tell the quality and care that goes into it.

The staff deserves an A+ for their friendly, welcoming service—it makes the whole experience even better. Plus, the ability to sit outside, relax, and enjoy the beautiful scenery while eating ice cream together as a family is such a bonus.

ok, first of all my order was completely wrong and your service took 10 minutes just for three small scoops of ice cream i had to remind them to make it after 6 mins and then once i got it they told me that i had to pay 1 extra DOLLAR FOR A SPOON!!!! then once i got the ice cream it was totally bland and flavorless and had NONE of the toppings i asked for exept the cherry also the entire establishment smelled like sulfur and i almost passed ooutttttt!!! they refused to make my hotdog and acted like they were drunk once i ordered somthing else they gave me so much attitude! once i was paying they literally got mad because i only left a 25% tip. then when i got in the car the homeless guy on the corner tried to follow me but i barely got away with my life 0 of 100 stars i would...
