tldr: put some vinegar sauce that I requested on an italian bmt, on a sweet onion-teriyaki chicken sub. Also forgot a bag of chips. called to see if they could fix it, but no answer! 😣
SOME CONTEXT: At the last Subway visited, they had the teriyaki and sweet onion sauce each in a separate bottle. So when ordering this evening, I was sure to mention in the "special instructions" box to please add both sauces on the chicken sub. (I submitted my order on the app). Shortly after getting back home, I realized that I'm missing one bag of chips, and after a couple bites and looking at the sandwich, we realize there's either vinegar, or vinaigrette on there accompanying the sweet onion and teriyaki sauces. Yeah, TERRIBLE mix, completely unsalvageable. The person I ordered it for literally couldn't eat it. We were so disappointed! I requested the other sandwich with oil and vinegar, but how do you mess that up? I called back (an hour before closing from an Austin area code, in case anyone cares to verify per caller id), but NO ANSWER. I was just there, and the store was NOT packed, let alone busy. I get that things can change, but then at least pick up the line and put me on hold! Sooooo...
Read moreI went in on a Wednesday night to grab a sub to go. The place was empty besides me and an old lady. I don't know how it happened but the dude managed to switch our subs and I found out when I got home. How hard is it to keep track of the subs? I called the restaurant to let them know about the mistake and also tell them to make another sub to have it ready for me. The phone just rang and rang. I drove back and saw the place EMPTY. One employee was eating dinner and the other was in the kitchen area. He came out and asked if something was wrong. I told him what he did wrong and also asked him why they didn't answer the phone. The other guy that was eating said he was helping a customer at the drive through window when the phone rang. Then I looked back at the guy helping me, "where were you then? What were you doing that was so important you couldn't answer the phone?" He just looked me and went back to making my sandwich. He ignored my question because he knew he screwed up not once, but twice. This job is not hard but somehow these knuckleheads can't get it right. I guess finding quality employees is...
Read morePulled up to get an Italian boss via driveway. Got home and the bottom part of the white bread was literally rock hard, not edible. So I stay calm go back and let the guy with glasses know. He says he’s going to make another one and I said great thanks. Then he loads up sandwich so I decide to watch him this time to make sure it’s done correctly and I spot that it’s some other kind of bread, not white. I kindly said that my previous sandwich was white. He says well, this is a different kind, and says how about this kind…!!???? , I said , can I not get what i want ? Or you think it’s ok to just modify my order at your whim? Am I not the paying customer ?? The place was dead empty. So it wasn’t like he had to rush and was under any kind of pressure. If only he would just concentrate on, take the job seriously and not try to undermine my order as I like it. Yeah first work problems but employees need to take their craft more serious and quite messing around. Focus on the paying customer which pays...
