This is my favorite Chinese take-out place and probably one of my favorite places for Chinese and Chinese-ish food. I've been going here for about 10 years every time the "fake" Chinese food craving hits and I just have to have my General Tsao's Chicken. Speaking of General Tsao, I think this place makes the best (and therefore it's probably not good for you!). It's nicely deep fried on the outside and coated in delicious sauce. And they use dark meat instead of that healthy chicken breast. I think they recently introduced a Taiwanese menu and the beef noodle soup is actually very good for a take-out place. I would even venture to say their beef noodle soup is better than the sit-down noodle place across the street from it.
I live very close to the place so I call ahead and pick-up every time. There aren't a whole lot of parking available in front of the place, but since not many people choose to dine-in, the spots are open for the most part. Their service is pretty fast and good with food ready in...
Read moreI recently picked up veg fried rice from this Chinese restaurant and was beyond impressed! From the moment I walked in, the place felt clean, well-maintained, and welcoming. It’s always a good sign when a restaurant takes pride in its appearance, and this one definitely does.
The veg fried rice was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked with just the right balance of vegetables and seasoning. You can tell they use quality ingredients, and everything tasted made-to-order.
On top of that, the prices are very reasonable, especially considering the generous portion size and great taste. It’s clear this spot offers excellent value without compromising on quality.
Highly recommend for anyone looking for tasty, satisfying vegetarian Chinese food. I’ll definitely be back to try more...
Read moreI’m not sure what happened, but this most recent order was abysmal. I’m taking the $50 loss, simply to avoid having to drive back for a refund. Their fried crab wontons are different now, different shape and greasy beyond belief. The sweet and sour sauce had the consistency of water, it used to be thick and flavorful. Unfortunately Google won’t allow a video to be posted of the water with red food dye. As another reviewer had wrote, the dumplings are most definitely filled with something else, unsure of what’s inside. Lastly, to the person below who had reviewed that the person who answered the phone didn’t speak English very well, what do you expect? It’s a CHINESE establishment you dingus. If you want an American to answer a phone with good English, call a pizza place...
