I’ve been enjoying Braums for almost 40 years. It’s hard to write this review but necessary as i had one of the worst experiences at the Braums at Santa Fe and 2nd on June 30th around 5:50 PM. My order: A number one with a large fry and medium water with lime, a kids cheeseburger meal with orange juice, a junior frozen yogurt twist in a cup and another number one, just the burger. Paid $20.70 and when we got to the 2nd window they handed us our drinks and 1 bag of food with no kids meal bag or toy. I would like to state that my order placement was slow, clear and concise. If there was a mistake in clarity I highly doubt it was on my end.
For context, I would be taking the kids meal to my daughter who would not be able to enjoy it for another 20-25 minutes so I needed a separate bag big enough to hold her food and toy so I could close it and give it to her without it getting cold. However, they did not and would not give me a kids meal bag. They sold me a toy at the window for $1 (a book?) but only gave me a very tiny bag, much shorter than the book, and would hardly fit the burger and fry together alone. When I said I needed a bigger bag, preferably a kids meal bag as I had ordered, the folks at the window said okay then disappeared for a bit. The manager eventually came to the window and said I couldn’t have the kids bag. I told her I needed a kids meal bag so I can fit the stuff inside. (I’d honestly have accepted any bag big enough). They assured me it all would fit in the small bag, which, as I explained, will not fit and close. They chose to continue stating they could not give me a kids meal bag because it’s not what I ordered. Again, I said I would pay for it and it’s what I ordered. I explained that this small bag is not what I need nor will it work. For those wondering the small bag they gave me was made to hold a single order of fries or burger, not a kids meal. It’s slightly bigger than a single small popcorn bag you’d get at a bank. The lady (I assume is the manager) insisted she could do nothing and could not give me a bag. Again, I said I’d pay for the bag and it’s what I ordered and needed and this won’t work. Again, they refused. At this point this nonsense had gone on for several minutes with several cars now backed up behind us and instead of apologizing for the mistake and just selling or giving me a bag they said they could work on refunding me and then re-charge the order altogether. At this point I had had enough. I said look, that’s going take several minutes and you guys already have a backed up line of cars waiting because you messed up, not me. I left without the bag and a bitter and ridiculous experience of what should be a golden standard of fast food. I’m completely shocked and dumbfounded that the manager would be willing to lose a customer over a bag that probably costs less than $.20. The food itself was nothing off the charts. The burgers were good but the fries tasted very old, mushy and saltless. Overall, I hope this is a one off but I have had other order mess ups here in the recent past. I was willing to overlook them. I will not...
Read moreI would like to express my dissatisfaction with the recent decline in quality and service at the Braums location. Over the past few months, I have noticed a significant deterioration in the overall experience.
One particular issue that has consistently arisen is the inability of the staff to accommodate simple requests regarding burger customization. Despite requesting the removal of onions or the addition of lettuce and tomato to a Gouda burger, it seems that the staff is unable to fulfill these requests due to a lack of options in their system. This is highly disappointing and raises concerns about the competence of the staff and their adherence to customer preferences.
Furthermore, I have attempted to address this issue by contacting a manager, who assured me that the staff would be properly trained and informed about the possibility of adding vegetables to the burgers. However, despite these assurances, the problem persists. It is disheartening to encounter such a lack of consistency and disregard for customer satisfaction.
Additionally, I must highlight the issue of onions being placed in the cheese, even when specifically requesting their omission. This not only compromises the taste of the burger but also demonstrates a lack of attention to detail and respect for customer preferences. Even when the onions are removed, the lingering taste remains, which greatly diminishes the overall enjoyment of the meal.
In conclusion, I regret to say that the Braums location, which was once known for its quality and customer service, has significantly declined in recent months. I urge the management to address these issues promptly and take the necessary steps to restore the reputation of this...
Read moreI only review places when service is either very good, or very bad. This Braum's location is ran very very poorly. Most locations are ran well, but this one is an outlier for whatever reason and needs management changes badly. I actually used to work at Braum's in high school and can vouch they're typically very well ran, but this one is the worst. The manager is very rude/short, the place is always chaotic, the kids working there are very nice, but stressed because of the severe mismanagement. Our family does grocery pickups here often and almost every time we have to call to find out why our order isn't ready, and then they don't do it correctly and we have to drive back up to the store to fix it, that's after waiting almost 30 mins in the parking lot calling them and all of the calls going unanswered and having to go in to find out what's going on. This location needs a lot of help, starting at the top with how severely it's mismanaged.
The worst managed Braum's location by a mile and I've been to countless...
