Hobby's Hoagies — Restaurant in Edmond

I really dislike having to post anything negative, but today's experience was very disappointing.

After seeing a social media post asking where the best place to grab a sandwich was, we decided to try this place.

It was the middle of the afternoon, and the place was completely empty.

We ordered 2 sandwiches and a kids grilled cheese. These items seemed to be priced fairly normal until we received the actual product.

The small turkey club, which was priced around 8.00 bucks, was just sad. You can't call yourself authentic or a slice of the East Coast and serve food like this.

The chicken club sandwich only had one very thin slice of meat, a little cheese, and lots of lettuce and tomato.

As seen in the photos, it just lacked everything a good sandwich would have.

We would have said something while there, but all of the employees disappeared after making our meals.

Again, we truly dislike having to leave this type of review and hope they do better...

I had great hope for this place. I am from New Jersey and felt like this place would be like a little piece of home. Their menu seemed perfect. They even had tastykakes for crying out loud. I was so pumped. I placed an order for 4 hoagies and the kid on the phone could barely comprehend. He kept messing up over and over. By the time I hung up I was confused and I knew my order was going to be wrong. Guess what I was right. He put stuff on our hoagies that we didn't even ask for. I was digusted to say the least. Our hoagies were bitter and soggy my aunt didn't even finish hers. The young men couldn't even get the cash register to work correctly. I spent good money for nothing. Those hoagies had very little meat on them and quite frankly a child could of made it better than what we were served. The owner really needs to get new staff or train those young men better or they will run your business...

Ordered takeout from here for dinner on 11/10/22. I get home and open my sandwich, only to find a SILICA packet IN my sandwich that literally says do not eat contains IRON because they are POISONOUS. I called to speak with manager, no manager present so I spoke to Anthony. All they could do was deny that they had did that. I even offered to bring it up there to compare to their products. (Keep in mind there is no manager to speak of just high school age kids) I asked if the owner would please call me and left my information. It is now 11/12/22 and I have yet to hear from anyone. I don’t even care about a refund just would like to someone to listen to ensure this doesn’t happen again. Guess we’ll see what the health department has to say since they do not care about...
