This location normally has good pizza- much better than the other Edmond location. I had ordered their new NY pizza last week (pick-up, not delivery) and it was awesome. That being said, I just ordered it again via delivery and it arrived after the delivery quoted time, the crust isn’t the same and they forgot my ranch. It’d be worth the wait if everything was right, but it’s not the case. The driver said that the cook told him it was in the box and he offered to go back and bring me one, which would be at least another 30 minutes and 16 miles round-trip, so I didn’t take him up on it. It also didn’t even come in a Mazzio’s box. As you can see in the photos, it’s nothing like the first one- waste of money. The second one even has a different thing under the pizza- the first one has their cardboard thing and the other is a thin parchment type paper. The fact that it came in a non-Mazzio’s box, doesn’t taste the same, doesn’t have the things that keep the pizza in place, and forgot the ranch (purposely?)— I think they picked up from another place and tried to pass it off. If it wasn’t for the past decent experiences (they’ve forgot other sauces on a few other occasions), I’d give a 1 star.
Update: Just ordered a pizza and cheese bread. It quoted me 30-40 minutes, so I took my lunch break accordingly. It was 50 minutes later, so I called to see what was going on- maybe left it on someone else’s porch. I call and customer service said that the driver left 3 minutes ago and I’m at least 25 minutes away. I’m frustrated because I won’t even be able to eat it during lunch- he said he’d give me $5 off. Mind you, I’m starving. After I hung up, I called back and said to just cancel the order- she said she couldn’t do it because the driver was already on their way and that I’d just have to refuse delivery. So, I’m going to have to wait at my house- can’t leave to get something to eat- to refuse delivery. Another 30 minutes rolls around and no one is here- I call back and they said that they canceled the order, so I’ve been sitting around waiting for this driver to get here instead going to get something to eat. They should have called once they found out it was going to be another 45 minutes beyond quoted time and I would have canceled and ordered from another place or ran out and grabbed something, but nope. At the VERY least, call me to let me know the driver wasn’t coming. I’ll never order from this...
Read moreI've been coming to this location specifically for 20+ years. I don't come a ton Maybe once every few months. As far as value goes, if you follow their Pizza buffet schedule which are usually weekdays 11:00 to 1:30 and you keep up with their coupons online you can get a lot of bang for your buck at this place bring the whole family and you won't break the bank. Just purely preference wise it's not my favorite pizza but it's good pizza I just have a specific type that I like. However what I usually always come for is their salad bar, I like a good salad bar and they just do it right here it's not massive and it might be a tad limited on some of the options but its Simplicity just works for me and it's fresh and I enjoy it. If you come here pretty much anytime besides that 11 to 1:30 time slot you're going to basically have a majority of the restaurant just to yourself it usually stays pretty clear which I love I like to just come relax eat a salad watch a little TV and get back to work. My parents on the other hand they absolutely love this style of pizza and they order takeout here probably once a month if not more. They haven't changed the decor in this place for probably 20 plus years since I've been coming since I was a kid, though an update might be necessary at some point it is very nostalgic for me to come here, honestly Mazzio's just gets...
Read moreHonestly, I've always disliked Mazzio's. Their overpriced salad bar, the extremely strange crust on their pizza that feels like a long lost soggy saltine crackers brother, and the whole employee vibe of either I've been to prison, or I'm one internet search away from going to prison. This place lives up to all of that. We got a thin crust, bacon and pepperoncini Pizza that had the undercarriage and flop of a gigantic New York slice, zero crunch 👎🏽. We also got the cheesy dipping sticks, fully loaded, which ended up being like a small supreme pizza. One of us out of six that actually liked it, so it wasn't a complete bust. We also got a salad bar, which was super depressing off the bat, because they give you a segmented container that has some pretty large segments that take up most of the room that you would get in a to-go salad container. Then of course you get charged what looked like over $10 for a very sad salad. Just don't eat here, unless you just like sad nostalgic vibes, because they also haven't updated the insides of these since...
