We're visiting from out of town. My father in law likes to play pool so we went to the bar. There are plenty of pool tables as well as other games. It's big and roomy. Prices were fair. My husband and father in law were running the pool table and having a good time. Various players tried to win the table. There were 3 people who wanted them to give up the table but my husband said they would have to win it. Apparently the woman in their group decided to go tell the bouncer and security lies. Instead of the bouncer and security coming to ask us what was going on, they came over and started accusing us of causing trouble. They were rude to us and it wasn't even true what she said. My husband took the bouncer over to the lady to confront her with what she said. Eventually the bouncer figured out what was going on. The problem I had was the way the bouncer and security handled it. They both just came over and started yelling at us. After the matter was settled, the security came over and told my sister in law and myself if we couldn't stop arguing with that group, we were going to be kicked out. I hadn't even spoken to those folks.I wasn't even playing pool and the only people I interacted with was the bartender and my family. I get that it's a bar but I don't think I've ever been treated that way. We left after that and we won't be back. We went out to have fun, not be yelled at and treated...
Read moreThis was my second visit to the bar after moving to the area. I went in for a Quick Look a month ago, seemed nice- good menu! Didnât get to eat that night but promised I would be back to try their food and have a few brews. Service was terrible but I could live with it.
This week I come in and bring my adult son, hyping up what a fun bar it looked like and how they had an interesting menu for food.
We arrive. 15 minutes in a slow bar, but thatâs how long it took the bartenders to even acknowledge us. Not a great start.
We ask for a menu. âOh we donât do food anymore, weâve switched to food trucks.â
âOk whenâs the food truck coming?â
Both waitress shrug.
Still âFOODâ outside in bold on the awning.
Even though it had been a month since they stopped serving food, a paper sign taped to the wall behind the bar still says âAll employees must wash hands before serving foodâ or something like that. Huge red flag of neglect by both owner and staff.
Overall, it doesnât seem like anyone in there cares. And with limiting their offerings further and factoring in the terrible service, there are better venues to hang out with Iâm afraid. I had really high hopes for this one, but it seems like it used to be a good joint, and is now a dud.
Paid for our on drink each and...
Read moreVery upset! I started going there the past 2 days. Played pool & spent money at the bar! Had an amazing time! Then, decided to go back for a 3rd night, tonight, & went to the bar, was asked for my ID, then Dillon, the bartender, told me & my boyfriend we had to leave because somebody wrote something on the wall in the bathroom, but refused to say what or why we were kicked out! There is a chalk board in the girl's restroom & all I wrote was: HEATHEEE & IZZEE in a big heart! So my boyfriend called & Dillon refused to say why we were kicked out & said he'll talk to his manager & check the cameras! We are very disappointed & was looking forward to being regular patrons at Wolftrap! We will be contacting the Better Business Bureau over this...
