We occasionally get take out here due to it being convenient. We've gotten food here about 4 times now. The pizza is okay, always seems to be undercooked but for the price it's fine.
I leave a comment more so because every single time myself, my partner, or my roommate get food here we get treated like we aren't welcome before we've so much as said a word. We are not their typical older upper middle class patrons but are always super polite, pay before we get there, and tip 20%. Still everytime we go there we get glared at and have the food shoved at us to get out. I say 'I hope you have a nice day and the hostess rolls her eyes, and turns away, like??? I don't get it, we've never even eaten inside the restaurant, we're quiet when we wait for our food, polite and coutreous to whoever helps us, so I don't get why the hostess goes from friendly and cheerful to stoned faced and cold every single time she has to interact with us in any way.
Like, imagine a hostess cheerfully chatting and vibing with her patrons and then glaring when she sees you at the counter and greeting you with a flat "what?" as though you were lost, that feels off right?
Don't know, it seems we're not the only ones who have been made to feel unwelcome for not being their 'usual' clientele so I wanted to leave a review in case someone else might want to avoid feeling scorned for chosing to support a local...
Read moreA satisfying soup and salad combo at Romeos is my healthy lunch option. I order either the lemon chicken and rice or their classic minestrone. It's loaded with vegetables! Order your salad with dressing on the side if you're counting calories. There are several items in the menu and..from time to time, i enjoy devouring their lemon pepper chicken wings and the cracker like gluten-free medium sized Margherita pizza! My daughter in law and the men in my family, after a two hour workout at the gym, crave their soup and crisp salad combo (with dressing on the side). They share a large order of Romeos pizza(their favorite)for a slice or two. Here's to moderation and balanced eating ! This summer we are able to visit more often with our furbaby. The restaurant has a private, outdoor seating for a family of 6 + with a pet or two. The staff is especially patient, thoughtful and kind. One of the many reasons( easy parking, clean bathrooms, )we choose to have lunch here- always a...
Read moreTo be frank, I was craving some delicious pizza, so I did some research in Edmonds and Lynwood, and that's when I came across Romeo's Pizza Kitchen. It had some great reviews, although there were a few negative ones, but I decided to give their meals a try!
We opted for the House Pizza, a 10" pie loaded with pepperoni, Canadian bacon, mushrooms, onions, chopped tomatoes, green peppers, olives, and feta, priced at $19. The Sicily, another 10" pizza, featured pepperoni, Italian sausage, Canadian bacon, and salami, priced at $18.50. We also couldn't resist trying the Cobb salad, which boasted a mix of house greens, lemon-roasted chicken, bacon, avocado, tomato, red onions, cucumbers, peppers, kalamata olives, boiled eggs, and feta, with Italian dressing, all for $17.
The portions were generous, and the flavors were fantastic! It's not the cheapest place in town, but it's definitely a classy and mouthwatering restaurant worth visiting. I highly recommend...
