My husband and I went on our date night to the firehouse. We usually go there about once or twice a month since it’s close by but this time we had terrible service. The Resturaunt was 80% empty with 2 large tables and 2 other people at the bar so we figure we would get good service…well we were wrong. We sat at the bar and ordered a few drinks and our food. The bartender asked us if we wanted a third drink , I asked her where is our food, it’s been 35 minutes. She commented with …we have 2 larger tables that we need to get all their food out first (which was 2 tables of 10 people). We were totally offended by the waitress statement and walked out. The bar tender kept pushing drinks on us. I said to my husband if we don’t get served in 10 more minutes, we’re leaving that would’ve been 40 minutes.. Sadly we walked out and went to another Resturaunt. We will never return there again. Obviously larger table parties take priority because they make more money for...
Read moreSLEEPER ALERT!! If you are on your way to the shore and want an awesome bite, or if you are sick of your small town food and don't mind a nice drive - look no further. We stopped in for a drink, hit the tail end of happy hour and didn't leave until after dinner! The apps were delicious, our server was so sweet and let us know we were still in happy hour even though it ended in a few mins. We had the mussels and the sliders. There were so many food options for happy hour and great drink prices. Then we saw the menu and had to order something bc the selection was insane. We opted for the edamame falafel with slaw and aoli and fries on grilled pita. The app of 3 cheese burger sliders on soft rolls with fried onions were a meal in themselves. Better burger than I've had in forever. The mussels were huge and the sauce was chunky with tomato and garlic. Then came our falafel. No typical cucumber tziki, instead a sweet chili aoli with the slaw that just elevated this surprising menu item. We will definitely be back!!! I never take photos of food but here is half of the falafel sandwich that I shot while taking a break...

We set up at the bar, Sue the bartender was so kind and promt - we felt so welcomed! We ordered salmon and mussels - absolutely delish and fresh, fish was cooked to perfection, moist, buttery, divine! We were so taken with the food that we came back for dinner next day, had salmon again with calamari this time, again perfectly executed dishes by chef Nelo, which we had pleasure to meet. If you looking for place which serves decadent food, child friendly, pescaterian, vegan friendly within homy atmosphere - look no more! You wouldn't be dissapointed.
