Carl’s Jr. — Restaurant in El Cajon

So today at the Drive Thru I ordered a large combo with a Beyond Burger with extra patty, extra onion, extra lettuce and extra tomato. This is my regular order. Everything went smoothly, but when I came home I realized that the burger didn't look like a Beyond Burger at all. Nor it had extra veggies in it. So I drove all the way back and asked the girls to replace it. They already knew that they had messed up my order, so they asked the cook to give me the burger she had cooked for me before. I told them that I wanted it freshly cooked (obviously). While the cook was pretending (I found out that later) that she was making a new one, I looked at the menu and since nobody offered me a complimentary item (which was odd since they gave me a meat burger instead of a meatless one), I decided to ask for it myself and try the chocolate milkshake which I never tried. I asked the girl for a large shake, but she said she can only give me a cookie (I guess it would work if my name were Sid), so I did what every Karen would do. I asked for a supervisor. The supervisor told me that I earned only a small shake, so I declined and left. Just to realize they didn't bother to cook a fresh burger. That burger looked like it had been eaten and thrown up. And of course there were no extra onion! So I went back again, and only then they made me a good looking burger as they usually do (not today tho). I don't need any credit from these guys nor I will ever come back, but I guess people should know how professional their supervisors and...

Worst experience ever. First they were out of Fries. I then waited 10 minutes. Keep in mind there were no other guests in the Dining room. Just me. So I go to the counter, where there is No One. I look toward the cooking area and there's the person making the food On The Phone, Texting. The Shift Manager comes back up, sees the girl Texting. Does Not say a word. The girl Texting, after finishing her text puts her phone in her back pocket, Does Not Change her Gloves and finished my order. All this time the Shift Manager does Not say anything. I took my food from her and said that the girl in the back needs to change her Gloves. Shift Manager then tells me she will Talk to her. I was not sure of what I would say if I started talking and I was sure I would not get a refund, so I took the food and left. The food itself was cold and the order was wrong also. I will be following up on this with corporate or the Franchise Board. Not acceptable. I will not go back. Especially for Dinner hour. I would have left no...

I got the California classic combo. Fries were very fresh hot and crispy just how I like them. Burger was hot and good very fresh just smaller than I hoped. I wolfed it down quickly. Next time I'll stick to my usual of the big Carl combo. After I ate my burger I was sitting and enjoying my fries and a homeless woman came inside and walked up to my brother and I while we were eating and asked us if we had any leftover food she could have. I looked at my fries and I had eaten about half of them but I said yeah sure and gave her the rest of my fries. She was polite and thanked me for the little bit of food I had given her and she didn't ask for money afterwards. She left carrying and talking to her plush dinosaur 🦕 there are a lot of homeless people in the area on 2nd street in El Cajon. I didn't mind but it was totally unexpected. I left still feeling hungry. Now I'm home making...
