I'm writing this review with a heavy heart after a recent visit to Pho Super Bowl, a place I used to enjoy. Unfortunately, my latest experience has left me upset and determined not to return.
My order was simple: a "rice dinner" which traditionally comes with white rice. By mistake, I ordered extra fried rice on the side, not realizing my main dish would automatically come with white rice. Upon noticing the error, I attempted to correct my order, but the response from the staff, particularly a young man handling my order, was far from understanding or accommodating.
Despite my efforts to explain the mix-up, I was met with dismissiveness and refusal to correct the mistake or issue a refund for the extra rice I paid for but did not receive as intended. The situation escalated unnecessarily, leaving me embarrassed in front of other customers. The interaction lacked any semblance of customer service, empathy, or willingness to listen, which is disappointing from any establishment, let alone one I frequented.
I asked for a receipt to clarify my order, only to face further condescension. The incident not only ruined my meal but also my day, leading to tears of frustration over being treated so poorly. All I wanted was the rice corrected - a simple request that was met with resistance and rudeness.
This experience has shown me that loyalty and understanding are not values held by Pho Super Bowl, contrary to what one would expect from a reputable restaurant. I hope this feedback serves as a wake-up call to improve customer service and communication. No customer should have to go through what I did for something as simple as an...
Read moreToday I thought I’d try a new Pho restaurant because there are many in my area. So I placed an order thru Postmates. I truly regret it so very very much. I got the Large combination Pho, it has almost everything in it. It’s what I always order from any Pho restaurant I visit or get delivered. It was the most Boring, watered down, No taste Pho beef broth I’ve ever tasted. It’s like they were running out of broth so they just added water! I had to add Beef bullion to my beef broth just to have flavor. I usually don’t add hoisen or Sriracha but this time I had to add both to have some sort of flavor. Wow! What a waste of money! All I wanted was a really decent bowl of Beef Broth and this was an epic failure! I’m so disappointed and should have just ordered from my closest pho restaurant instead of trying a new pho restaurant. I just try and support local Restaurants but I made a mistake today. The One good item was the egg roll. At least that was good and edible with lots of flavor. Wasted $28.55 plus tip for a delivery from Postmates. Hopefully this was a one time thing. But I doubt it. No decent pho restaurant would dilute their broth and make it taste like JUST HOT WATER. Won’t know because I’m not going to try it again. Good luck all. Try the egg roll...
Read moreLocated in a strip mall, this restaurant has no decor, very simple to explain it. It wasn't the cleanest when I went in...it seemed there was some sort of dinner rush on a weekday, so things seemed confused. I wasn't greeted but sat down, and took over 5 minutes to get the order in by the waiter. The menu is not that extensive but has something from the usual areas.
I got the fresh spring rolls...which are just okay and do taste fresh. I got the 19 plain pho/noodle soup regular size. Coming to the table, it's a decent portion, and it did look good...but looks are deceiving. The broth was low-okay...it seemed more peppery than chicken/beef flavorful. The noodles were also cooked a little too long, since they broke apart when trying to scoop them up...making it difficult to eat.
Overall, the quality wasn't as good as I expect, but the...
