Jack in the Box — Restaurant in El Cajon

Without a doubt this location moved itself up the ladder of customer service exponentially. going to the drive-through a pleasant voice greeted us. Not only offering a menu selection but offered to answer any questions then included her name, Teresa , order when ready. Which we did momentarily thereafter. Theresa asked for clarification on an item and was sincerely apologetic when she had to respond negatively to our inquiry of the availability of a hot apple pie.

She had been pleasant, professional and proper with an appropriate level of playing along as she dealt with our oft esoteric flirting by offering to meet us later at the 1st window.

As our turn approached to meet this marvel of customer service we spoke Amongst ourselves noting what a pleasant interaction we happened upon. The best menu board speaker interaction in recent memories. Upon our arrival to window 1, we were again greaterd by Terresa and her sunny disposition a warm smile showing in spite of the Covid19 protective device properly in place..again we spoke among ourselves with the umbrella and it was established and 2nded that terry should be recognized for her customer interaction efforts.

It is obvious from our interaction with Teresita, then the unidentified young lady at window two that was avpleasant customer interaction as well.. .that this location has superior management. Cashier rita gave me the wrong change when we went thru the drive thru and when my girlfriend who was driving told her she gave us the wrong ammount and she said she couldnt open the drawer. My girlfriend told her that wasnt true, and i i personally have worked cashier at taco bell and kfc and also knew she was lying, thats when Rita became belligerent and stubborn stating it was the right change when it really wasnt. Jack n the box, you have let me down yet again and shorted me change, not to mention the ketchup we asked for and didnt get either. At that point we drove away both happy she was dumb enough to act out so i could call corporate, and that her true punishment is shes stuck there miserably working at jack n the box while we get to drive away being the bigger people. Jack n the box, you suck and you were already my last resort for eating late but i think id rather go hungry through the night then going there again and being provided with sub par service and being stolen from. And rita i hope ur fired and work some where where you wont be able to interact with customers, because honestly if youre not going to be pleasant and know that the customer is always right, get the heck out of the food...

I came here to try Jacks new spicy popcorn chicken only to get reheated food that is not even crispy! The texture of the chicken breading you can tell it was thrown in the fryer more than 1 time!!! I got my tacos here now with no sauce because these people will sell you a soggy taco that has been sitting around. I don’t order french fries here because they are never crispy or hot. And now, I can’t even order fried chicken without getting screwed! This location is garbage! I got no napkins and no sauces. I was ignored the entire time at the window so by the time my online order was ready I forgot to ask.. man I don’t think I will ever, ever return to this location despite how close it is to home. Sucks because I enjoyed tacos from Jack in the Box.. My opinion, if they didn’t hire so many lazy Mexicans the quality of their products to the consumer would be a lot better! Even the outside of the restaurant smelled like a sewer by the drive thru as if these people are dumping their gross water out there! Goes to show the filth and lazy workers inside!
