Father & Sons Grill — Restaurant in El Campo

First time voting this establishment and it was really really good! Got there about 11:50 a.m. on a Monday and only about 4 people sitting down. Made me kinda wonder if I had chosen a good spot or not to meet my son for lunch.

Well, within 15-20 minutes the place was buzzing and within 30 min there was hardly a place to sit down.

I ordered fried pickles as an appetizer and they were delicious! As for our entrées, I had the hamburger salad (yeah I know) and he had the club sandwich. Let me tell ya, that hamburger was seasoned very nicely and really made for a delightful salad. His club came out looking as clean cut and so stacked as a sandwich I’ve ever seen.

Order at the counter and they bring it to your table! Service was good and people friendly!

My daughters and I were in the mood for a burger in the area as we were waiting in between appts at the DMV. This place had good reviews and rated well. You will not be disappointed. My daughter and I ordered the combination cheeseburger, fries, and a drink. My other daughter ordered the stuffed baked potato with chopped beef. Delicious! Fries were crisp and burger was grilled just right- adding that char on the meat- also juicy. Baked potato looked amazing with all of the fixins. We love “off the beaten path” hometown places to eat and this one did NOT disappoint! Located in a “needs a little love” strip mall, the brimming hospitality begins when you enter the door and a hearty “howdy” comes from the counter! Being ate first time there, we chose the Mighty Burgers which has made them famous. The Mighty Texas burger was my husbands choice and I went for the signature Mighty Burger! They were HUGE and very delicious! Such a good hamburger! We loved every bite until we couldn’t finish the last bites! lol.
