El Campo City Aquatic Center — Local services in El Campo

We love coming to the aquatic center, but this weekend there was a young lady with an ugly attitude and talking to my son ugly. I heard her asking other people if they knew who he was and telling him to get out the hot tub. First of all he was in front of me and I was behind him and when I heard her talk to him like that I told her he was my son. Second if you don’t like interacting with people then find another job. Because the way you talk to people is not it. There is a way to ask people to get out or tell them you need your parents. But the little attitude you had with my 8 year old was uncalled for. Everything else was fine but this young girl’s attitude. I should have made a complaint when I was there but we had to go. Please make sure that the people you have as life guards are not people That look like they...

Place is fun, but they charge full price admission to families who choose to go in the morning and drive from other towns, even though they don't turn on their waterslide and other water features til the afternoon. If you don't turn on the water features, or even allow the patrons to use the lily pads, then either don't be open to the public during the mornings, or don't charge full price for the morning session. It's ridiculous for a family to drive from another town, wanting to use this facility, because of the waterslide, and find out once they get there it is not being turned on. Not everyone checks the website, and if you aren't from the town or don't go too often, you don't know. Bottom line is, it is a rip off to charge full price for admission in the morning when not everything...

Upon arrival, I turned the lights on in the men's locker room to discover (human?) excrement on the blue locker room mat near the showers. I alerted staff immediately and they did nothing more than pick it up. There were brown stains on the mat when I left. Additionally, the locker room had leaking water valves, cobwebs and a general appearance of unkemptness in addition to being unsanitary. I was further concerned for pool safety as there were more than 15-20 swimmers in the deep end and not a guard at that end of the pool when I left, only 2 guarding the shallow water and slide.
