Frannie Express Hawaiian BBQ — Restaurant in El Cerrito

It's Hawaiian bbq, I mean I don't have any complaints; at least nothing worth a mention. They have your average assortment of dishes, though nothing extraordinary but what they have does suffice & tastes good as well.

They also have an small assortment of other Chinese food in a banquet style; along with the usual 2 entree and your choice of fried rice or chow mein (at least I'm pretty they offer the chow mein as an option). However I cannot speak for the Chinese food's quality as I have yet to order any of it. I just stick to the BBQ.

So yeah, it's a pretty great place in my opinion. Although I will say, AND THIS IS PROBABLY THE BEST ADVICE I CAN GIVE; if you are offering the Hawaiian BBQ CALL AHEAD! It's about a 15 minute wait so it's definitely recommended...

First time here. Dine in today. Ordered the chicken katsu, and the veggies were cold (ice cold).The veggies are under the chicken in the photo. I ask the lady that took my order about the cold veggies and she told me that it comes cold because if it was hot it would make the chicken soggy from the steam it would create in the container it came in. She should of made me some warm veggies to make a customer happy, but she didnt. Never had a place give you cold veggies before on purpose. I ordered food for delivery and as I was eating the first two bites of my food as I look down before I bit into my second bite I see there was a hair underneath the chicken I was about to eat .
