Don't walk... run away. By the time you see a roach come at you from the napkin holder on the table or see one race across the floor, (I've seen both here on seperate occasions) you know there's an infestation problem. There's no such thing as one roach. While roaches spread like wildfire they are nocturnal. The takeaway here is if you're seeing a few in the dining area during daylight hours then it follows there are hundreds in that kitchen. Let's face it, roaches are showing up for the same reason you are. They're hungry. Still, I was shocked to discover a roach marinating in my food. (See photo) If I'd been distracted I might have missed it. At first I thought it was part of the sauce on a piece of broccoli. NOPE...DISGUSTING!🤮 Gee willikers, how many roaches have I eaten there through the years at this place that I wasn't aware of ??? Common sense would dictate if you discovered a roach on your table or the floor near your table the staff would apologize profusely and offer to move you to another table. Possibly even comp your meal? Don't look for that here! Letting either of the sibling owners know there's a problem won't make you any friends. They already know, and can be described as casually apathetic. They'll come to your table quietly remove any evidence of the pest (provided you've killed it) and then childishly refuse to look at or speak to you. I'm not the only one to see roaches at Buffet Palace, read the reviews. That's been my experience over time. Lol, I'm honestly not sure why I went back after seeing them in the dining area. Finding one cooked in my food though? My food the roach marinated in came from one of their buffet pans so that whole pan was contaminated. They didn't pull anything. They kept right on serving food from the pan the roach had soaked in. These folks don't care. No worries, I'll never be back. Roaches carry disease and sometimes parasites. Hard pass.

Exceptionally wide range of choices, everything was fresh and cooked well. Very surprised to see some of the dishes like egg tarts, baby lobster, frog legs etc. Friendliest wait staff, warm welcome and great service, made sure we have clean table and drinks refilled the whole time, what a great experience. Bill for 2 person + tax only 33$. Highly recommended.

Don't judge me. My plate has items from the 4 food groups. I particularly love the broccoli, noodles, orange chicken, and crab rangoon. The buffet also has a variety of salads and fruit. Happy birthday music joyfully played in background. I'll be visiting again soon, and I invite you as well. ***5 stars rating ***

No longer a fan and never going back. I’m not one to make reviews or try and take a business down.. but as I’m going through the reviews there’s a review from 3 weeks ago that says they saw a roach..

Well to cut it short we did too, but here’s what happened. We walked and given a table but my husband requested a booth and the girl accommodated us. When everyone got their food, I was the last and came back and my husband said he saw the smallest roach crawling on our table.. the girl happen to come ask us if we needed anything and my husband told her. She proceeded to ask if we would like another table.. and he said yes. We got to our new table and not even 5 minutes in we see another one! A bigger size one and we flag the girl down and showed her.. and she disappeared for a second.. at this point my children start screaming cause they’re toddlers and people began to look.. I could have blown it out of proportion and told everyone around us to look but chose not to. Because my kids were screaming we proceeded to get up and start walking out to pay and we found the girl coming from the register. She proceeded to say the the man (I’m assuming the owner) would give us a discount- when we got to him he said he’d give us a 35% off discount but my husband told him we had barely even ate.. this man could not look us in the face and apologize for the inconvenience but proceeded to tell us it was fine and not worry about it and we left.

Like I said I am not one to bash a place but evidently they have an infestation problem. The food is great but sadly we are...

I wouldn’t even give this place a 1 star… 3 people (INCLUDING me) went there to have a nice meal when we got our checks and the price came out to be EXTREMELY high. We proceeded to ask the assistant manager if we could get the written out check and when we got it we were in absolute shock. They had charged us with 5% gratuity and after asking why were we charged with gratuity with only three people they proceeded to tell us it was because we were a (small party) in my opinion what I got from this was that they seen younger people and took it we weren’t going to tip. BUT as a waitress myself that was NOT the case. I whole heartedly believe you have to work for your tip and am always grateful for whatever someone is kind enough to give me.. so to be charged with a 5% gratuity for absolutely no reason other than a (small party) which I’ve never heard of, I was honestly so disappointed. I will NOT be returning to a restaurant where I am judged and taken advantage of. This was just very unprofessional. To add to this as well when we asked about the gratuity the assistant manager continued to tell us that “some people don’t work for free” I took this VERY offensive and felt that this was VERY disrespectful and you do not speak to your customers this way. Terrible service and terrible restaurant DEFINITELY do not...
