Albert’s Mexican Food — Restaurant in El Monte

This is no longer Aliberto's! It's under new ownership and they changed the name to Albert's. Do yourself a favor and don't eat there. Go only if you enjoy getting sick, or if you don't mind them getting your order wrong. That's what happened to us today. They made both orders wrong, and when we took them back, the "manager" Martha argued with me. When I asked to speak with the owner, cause I could not believe the way she was talking to me after the BOY that took my order told her exactly what we wanted, she said she's also the owner. She was yelling at me, then she yelled at the boy that took my order as if it was his fault when she was the one that made both burritos we ordered, she grabbed the burritos off of the counter when I gave them to her and she slammed them into the trashcan and yelled at the boy in Spanish right in front of me! He also called her mom, so is the kid even being paid? He also looked like he was 13 or 14 at the most. I told her we just wanted our money back and she gave it to us, but not without yelling at me and telling me I didn't say "no pico" when I told her son "no pico" 3 times right in front of her. She was trying to close the window on me and I asked her, That's how you treat your customers?! And you're the owner?! I let her know we've been going there since the place opened, but since it changed ownership they have messed up the place. Especially treating customers the way she just did. Then she said the kid is new and basically trying to blame him for her mistakes, said she's by herself and she'll take our order next time. She never once said she was sorry. What an awful experience. We will never go back. And just so you know, last time my husband got a burrito there, they made it wrong, but we didn't go back to complain. And another time we went there, I got sick after I ate a bean and cheese burrito. The beans tasted like they were bad twice, so we never got beans there again. She ruined that place for...

Alibertos? You can already tell from the name its horrible, if i could I wouldve put no stars. I came to get green enchiladas they gave me red ones, so i had to drive all the way back and they wanted to take the whole plate back instead of making the right enchiladas that i ORDERED AND PAID FOR, not to mention the service was very horrible, so unprofessional. After we left and got a refund for it, i asked for the managers number and all of a sudden he did not know what that was, i asked to give me the supervisors number. Oh... and what does he do? Give me his number and a fake name on a piece of paper(jose lopez, alex), so best believe i called (not knowing it was his #) ... its the EXACT SAME VOICE AND ATTITUDE, so of course on the phone he is giving different names to have me confused. But let me tell you all of what he was saying did not add up. So of course i hang up and he TEXTS my number saying they took a picture of my license plate and is going to the cops! Oh how i laugh because it was their wrongdoing. And how he has cameras and is going to talk to his manager. But why didnt he just give me the managers number instead of his personal phone? I had an albert’s burrito and watermelon beverage yesterday at noon. This restaurant was designed locally in constructed culture. The food products tasted special to the youth. I can not exactly point out which bad food materials caused my throw up in my order (12/08/2020 Trans#: 16 Batch #:316) while I walked back. Even I tried to smell my throw up again in the trash can. I do not want to submit a picture of the receipt at this moment. The crucial consideration is food quality to this restaurant. But I will take further steps to follow up because more importantly this restaurant is closed to the high school district. There are students here.
