The only reason I am giving this restaurant 2 stars is because the waitress/cook Was nice to me along with a sarcastic attitude. First, the food is not authentic. I ordered a bean and cheese Pupusas without (no special price) because according to restaurant there’s a special for Revueltas at 2.50$ ea when you order more than 6. I was given canned beans on my food, definitely had to throw my food away. Y’all don’t understand when you visit these kind of moms home cooking places you want that home cook flavor food that some of us cannot obtain at other places and canned food is not acceptable .

Delicious&freshly made, from the pickled cabbage & cauliflower, to the amazing pupusas nice and hot from the kitchen to your table, every dish we ordered was tasty, and let’s not forget the Micheladas which was a nice surprise when we arrived that they have drinks to go with our dinner. Definitely a little Gem in El Monte, not too far from the Frwy and a family business that puts as much care into their food as their clients. 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

I was very impressed, the food was hot and delicious. Lately we've seen quality drop at so many restaurants but this one's a keeper! All my coworkers loved the pupusas revueltas and I tried a chicharon con queso both equally delicious and generously filled. I also ordered a plantanos con crema y frijoles (plantains with beans and sour cream) which were perfect. The order even came with a piece of cheese and two handmade tortillas!

ROTTEN SALSA, It was bubbly, foamy, and smelled really bad. It was in a warm bottle and they still served it to me!

I gave them the benefit of the doubt that it was a mistake and the rest of the food was okay. Unfortunately I experienced

SLOWED HEART RATE, SHORTNESS OF BREATHE, LIGHT-HEADEDNESS, FEVER LIKE FEELINGS, HOT FLASHES/SWEATING, DIARRHEA.

I noticed a bad vibe the lady gave me as I walked in. The feeling like she didn't like the type of people I am. Maybe it was a race thing.

As I was eating my food I looked over towards the kitchen and noticed she was watching me eat. She then turned away. A few moments later I turn to the back of me and noticed another employee watching me eat from behind and smiling. Almost like an evil smile. Laughing in the inside.

I should have known when I noticed all these clues

I kind of felt like I was poisoned or they put something...

I will never eat here my first time there was horrible I ordered a drink that the waiter said was good took a drink and nearly threw up, then I added about 1/2 cup of sugar still taste like throw up food was more grease then food, when the the waiter picked up our plates he said you didn't like drink I said no I even told him I put sugar and he still poured it back into the countainer he had the rest of the drink in. He said to expensive to throw out. That is so FREAKEN SICK. THE YOUNG GIRL WORKING SETTING TABLES WAS PICKING HER NOSE. NASTY...
