Diana's Mexican Food Products — Restaurant in El Monte

My husband kept on telling he wanted to try this "authentic" Mexican restaurant. I've had the flower tortillas for my burritos never disappointed, but today I was like what is this??? Coming from Mexican roots I was expecting more from this place! The menudo taste like it came out of a can. Sin pata! The salsa was for chips tanbien looked like it came out of a can. My daughter got the sopes de asada the meat didn't have no seasoning. The only thing that was good was the soda well balanced carbonated. But that's not all.... the cashing had the nasties attitude I asked for one large menudo and one medium, this female charge me two large and one medium. Whatever is all good never coming again. If you want good authentic Mexican food from a hole in wall go to El ojo de agua in rialto, California bomb never disappointing! I've tried plenty of place it's hard to find good quality...

OMG 😳 this place is awesome! My family is from northern Mexico (Mexicali) puro “Cachanilla” I live in Chino Hills and haven’t been able to find a GOOD restaurant with freshly made tortillas de harina. This place Ive always know it’s been here but I used to buy tortillas to go, never actually sat down and ate here. Prices are reasonable decor very basic with a few comfortable booths like from the 70’s They have Mexican potatoes many restaurants don’t this place is a tortilla factory, so all flour tortillas are made fresh! I had a carne asada burrito with two fried eggs, potatoes and frijolitos...

Like their caldo de res. The cashier is not friendly at all. The atmosphere is not welcoming at all either. The 4 times I've been there it seems like they are under staffed. I do see the cashier just standing behind the cashier with nothing to do. They are not that busy Today there were 10 tables and 2 were occupied and 4 of them were dirty with dirty dishes and trash. The other 4 were under loud speakers and ac. I got up to ask for water and the cook smiled and the other lady that came out to clean the tables helped me out in getting water. The unfriendly cashier was nowhere...
