La Michoacana Bakery — Restaurant in El Monte

My cousin recommended this place. He was gracious enough to share some conchas with me one morning and told me this is where he got them from. I finally went to get some myself. The reviews had me a little apprehensive because they mentioned rude customer service to non spanish speaking clients... I still went cause the conchas were literally the best I've ever had lol I wanted to get some myself. I am please to report, that my trip and experience was wonderful 🙌🙏 the women who helped me did not speak English to well but that didnt stop either of us from communicating with each other she was very pleasant and patient with me🤗😅 the prices are a little up there but I feel like most place sell sweet bread over a dollar now. Terrible customer service. Employee also allowed a woman to enter the store with her mask on her chin ( not over her mouth and nose like it’s supposed to be worn). We are in the middle of a pandemic and seeing this while shopping for bread is very unsettling and dangerous. Lamentablemente, ya no son los mismos de antes, y su sabor y textura han desmejorado considerablemente.
